The reason is supposedly because Golden Glory is throwing a fight and used AO and Sergei as main card fighters even though AO pulled out from the sept fight. This is Zuffa upset about it and are cutting most GG fighters except Sergei solely because he already signed the contract for his next fight and isn't going to pull out. If he loses to Barnett expect him cut, if he wins the tourney he may stay but its no guarantee.
