Al vaker zijn hier tournaments gehouden om te bepalen wat de beste tv-serie is. De winnaars waren toen The Simpsons (december 2002), Friends (september 2006), Twin Peaks (juli 2008). Maar nog nooit eerder is er een tournament gehouden voor een specifiek genre qua tv-series. Het leek mij leuk om eens een tournooi te houden voor een specifiek genre tv-serie. De eerste eer valt te beurt aan komedie. Omdat het een leuk genre is. Dat het zich makkelijk laat definiëren speelt ook mee.
De regels:
• Er is maar één enkele nominatie-eis waar films aan moeten voldoen; op imdb moet er Comedy staan bij genre. Uit welk jaar, land, geanimeerd of niet, maakt verder niet uit. Tv mini-series zijn ook toegestaan.
• Om mee te mogen doen met het tournament moet een serie minimaal 7 keer genoemd zijn in de nominatie-ronde Dit om onbekendere series buiten de deur te houden en het tournament daarmee ruim toegankelijk te houden
Voor de rondes na de nominatie-ronde:
Je mag alleen stemmen op een duel als je beide series van het duel gezien hebt! Nou hoef je van mij echt niet alle afleveringen van alle seizoenen gezien te hebben om te mogen stemmen. Maar hopelijk wel iig minimaal een paar afleveringen van een serie zodat je daarop je mening kan baseren en er een eerlijke keuze gemaakt kan worden. Zodat de beste serie wint en niet de populairste.
