Ja maar heel veel media nemen op het moment de staatsTV in Libya over. Terwijl dit niet correct is als je kijkt naar de twitter feeds. Ik zie heel veel tweets voorbij komen dat Gaddafi oprukt naar Benghazi, maar dat is niet het geval zo schijnt.quote:

Misschien verkeerde gedachte, maar denk dat de anti's een bepaalde tactiek volgen. Ook alweer enkele dagen geleden riepen ze op s'nachts alle verlichting uit te doen. Zouden ze zich overdag gedeist houden zodat de bommen geen zin hebben, en s'nachts verrassingsaanvallen doen.

Misurata/Misratah is een stad ter grote van Amsterdam het is dus niet gek dat ze die belegeren, binnenvallen is niet mogelijk. Als Sirt in handen is van de Rebellen/anti-G/Pro-democratie troepen dan zou ik verwachten dat een deel van de troepen die aan het belegeren zijn vertrekken naar die richting.
De volgende stap lijkt mij, om de troepen van Gaddafi te proberen te omsingelen de volgende nacht. Dan zijn ze ook af van de artilleriebeschietingen.
En daarna de link met Misurata te bewerkstelligen, alhoewel de afstand vrij groot is (ong. 250km).
Heeft iemand enig idee wat voor artillerie geschut ze gebruiken? Het lijkt me niet dat ze veel statisch geschut gebruiken gezien de snelheid van hun opmars. Volgens wiki bezitten ze 444stuks Self Propelled Artillery. Met als topstuk de 160 Italiaanse Palmaria:

Ik krijg de indruk dat dit stukje hardware de grootste oorzaak is voor de opmars van de troepen van Gaddafi, je moet veel discipline hebben wil je rustig blijven zitten bij een artillerie beschieting en het is niet alsof ze terug kunnen schieten over dezelfde afstand.
De volgende stap lijkt mij, om de troepen van Gaddafi te proberen te omsingelen de volgende nacht. Dan zijn ze ook af van de artilleriebeschietingen.

Okee het is dus erg onduidelijk wat er nu in Libya gebeurd. Journalisten zijn gevlucht voor dreigementen Khadaffi terwijl de rebellen eigenlijk aan de winnende hand zouden zijn?

Daarnaast las ik dat Khadaffi de parachutes uit de ejectorseat heeft laten halen, en ook qua brandstof zijn ze minimaal getankt om het deserteren te voorkomen.
Als het vliegveld van Benghazi nu gebombardeerd wordt lijkt dat te bewijzen dat de anti's idd vluchten uitvoeren.

Als die no-fly zone niet komt, zou wellicht het westen alsnog de rebellen kunnen ondersteunen door anti aircraft misseles en andere beschermende munities te overhandigen. Wel goed om te lezen dat de rebellen blijven vechten voor hun vrijheid.
