We weten allemaal dat het Mubarak regime een hoop op zijn kerfstok had, en de nasleep ervan is voorlopig nog niet afgelopen. Honderden leden van de verscheidene special forces lopen nu 'werkeloos' rond in de Egyptische steden, en ondertussen wordt er met rap tempo bewijsmateriaal van de criminele acties door de shredder gehaald. Maar niet alles.

Het lijkt er ernstig op dat er nooit echte interne conflicten zijn geweest tijdens de eerste fase van de revolutie, maar dat de overheid vrijwel overal een hand in heeft gehad.

Het lijkt er ernstig op dat er nooit echte interne conflicten zijn geweest tijdens de eerste fase van de revolutie, maar dat de overheid vrijwel overal een hand in heeft gehad.

Het leek me dan ook weer typisch een actie van 'mubarak-thugs' toen christenen werden aangevallen vorige week. Volgens Aljazeera zijn ze nog steeds actief, het zaaien van verdeeldheid is altijd 'de' strategie geweest van Arabische despoten.

Het is toch alom bekend dat dictators onrust en angst zaaien, om de bevolking onder de duim te houden. Of lees ik verkeerd?
Zeker niet, maar veel mensen zijn nog in de veronderstelling dat dit iets is 'wat bij ons niet gebeurt'.
Wat er in die documenten staat is geen exclusief Egyptisch fenomeen, talloze internationale 'security agencies' gebruiken exact dezelfde doctrines, met als overduidelijk voorbeeld natuurlijk CIA.
