BBC Radio 1 DJ Greg James vertelde net iets over het aanwezig zijn bij een opname van Doctor Who, afgelopen nacht ofzoiets. Ik luisterde niet echt, maar misschien heeft-ie een rolletje in een aflevering. Hij had het over september.

Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill are seen sporting their red noses on the cover of the new issue of TV & Satellite Week on sale now!
Two brand new mini-adventures featuring the TARDIS team will be broadcast during BBC Ones Red Nose Day telethon on Friday 18th March, and Steven Moffat recently revealed that the 4-minute episodes entitled Space and Time are taken seriously as a proper bit of Doctor Who. You can see two screenshots from the episodes here.

As previously reported, Matt Smith is soon to be seen in the title role of a new BBC Two drama, Christopher And His Kind, which is to air later this month.
Ahead of its transmission, Matt has spoken to the Independent about the challenges in portraying celebrated author Christopher Isherwood on screen. During the interview, he admits that he hopes the role will showcase his versatility and enable fans who know him as the Doctor to see a different side to him as an actor.
Hopefully people see me as an actor who can adapt to different roles, he explains. Im very grateful for Doctor Who for giving me the platform to do it - its one of the favourable things about having a great role like that. But hopefully, watching this, you dont see the Doctor. I always want to do varied work that is challenging - and this is a great story, challenging the perception that I can only be one thing.
Meanwhile, the BBC Press Office also has an interview with Matt about the series. Lindsay Duncan (Adelaide in The Waters of Mars) and Toby Jones (The Dream Lord in Amys Choice) co-star in the drama as Kathleen and Gerald Hamilton, respectively.

Tennant begon pas in zijn tweede seizoen met de bruin/blauw afwisseling. Het is niet ondenkbaar dat Smith nu ook twee bij elkaar liggende kostuums heeft. Al vind ik het wel een onderdeel van DW dat een Doctor altijd een bepaald type outfit heeft wat 'm onderscheidt, dus het mag niet teveel afwijken.

The latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine has announced the likely airdate for Series 6 of Doctor Who.
As expected, the show is set to return of the Easter Weekend, with Episode One airing on Saturday 23rd April, and Episode Two airing as soon as Sunday 24th April - although that point is nothing more than a rumour at this moment in time.
The magazine also confirms the title of Episode 11 as The God Complex. The story is written by Toby Whithouse and features David Walliams as Gibbis.

Dit is voor BBC America. No way dat de US 't eerder te zien krijgt dan de UK, dus 23 april lijkt me ook wel bevestigd voor ons.
