Ergens geeft dit me kippenvel. Het heeft allemaal een diepere betekenis, maar ik ben er van overtuigd dat 99,9% daar op die feesten nog nooit van Kaïn of Golgotha heeft gehoord. Zelf ben ik in het verleden een aantal jaren in de housewereld werkzaam geweest en heb niet de indruk dat producers zich heel veel (lees: helemaal niet) met bijbelse zaken bezig houden... het zijn gewoon jongens die van de muziek houden, net als ik dat vroeger sterk had. Hey Jokkebrok, ik las net deze post pas. Vroeger luisterde ik ook veel naar hardcore. In de housewereld lijkt t idd 1 en al occult te zijn... of dat nu gabber is of op sensation. Sensation white en black lijken wel odes aan de yin en yang van het universum. In 2007 was het thema een grote 'oak of love', een boom. Tijdens het feest (ik was er) werd er een slang door het publiek gedragen. De texten van de MC's waren hypnotisch/spiritisme. Dat dit aspect er is, is onontkenbaar. Maar zoals je zelf al zegt, de mensen die er zelf betrokken bij zijn, hebben dit meestal niet eens door. Waarom niet?quote:

Ergens geeft dit me kippenvel. Het heeft allemaal een diepere betekenis, maar ik ben er van overtuigd dat 99,9% daar op die feesten nog nooit van Kaïn of Golgotha heeft gehoord. Zelf ben ik in het verleden een aantal jaren in de housewereld werkzaam geweest en heb niet de indruk dat producers zich heel veel (lees: helemaal niet) met bijbelse zaken bezig houden... het zijn gewoon jongens die van de muziek houden, net als ik dat vroeger sterk had. Toch, als je je een beetje verdiept in de materie, staat het bol van dit soort dingen en dát is wat me zo fascineert. Waar komt dit vandaan?

Iedereen wordt bestookt met kwade geesten om hun eigen agenda te vorderen. De house wereld is daar een goed voorbeeld van. In wezen is housemuziek niets anders dan repetetieve hypnotische muziek om je in een trance te brengen, waardoor je jezelf openstelt voor de geestenwereld. Vaak wordt de Dj letterlijk vergeleken met een priester. Men ervaart een geweldig gevoel van eenheid. Men gebruikt drugs en alcohol om in andere sferen te raken. Lichteffecten voegen toe aan het hypnotische effect van de hele setting. Housefeesten zijn al oeroud alleen werden ze voorheen bewust gedaan om bepaalde goden te vereren of geesten aan te trekken. Nu is het publiek en de organisatie zich er zelf niet van bewust waar men werkelijk mee bezig is, maar men wordt geinspireerd door de geestenwereld die steeds dezelfde truucjes uit halen om mensen maar op een dwaalspoor te brengen of ronduit kapot te maken.
Voor de organisatie en producers etc. zijn het meestal allemaal gimmicks en grapjes en zit er niets serieus bedoeld achter, maar wat voor geest zou de spot drijven met de zaken die aangehaald worden? En wat is de invloed van het regelmatig bezoeken van dit soort feesten voor je geestelijke, lichamelijke en spirituele gezondheid? Dat is gedeeltelijk te meten.
