Seeing I could not find a more appropriate place to post this, I can't find a suitable answer on the support site, the "contact support" form only allows 1000 tokens to be entered, I feel that I should post it here - feel free to move it to a more appropriate location should that be deemed necessary. Do note however that this is an inquiry of information as well as a formal request:

L.S.,
Activision-Blizzard states that they will start to use the information provided by me (notably: on different terms then foreseen, well before the launch and integration of WoW-battle.net accounts) on their forums, aka, my real name will be coupled to the posts I make there.
There is however a caveat, with respect to Dutch Law, where this applies when it comes to personal data gathered by entities, in this case being Activision-Blizzard.
* The right to correction, supplementing, deletion or blocking
The right to correction, supplementing, deletion or blocking
As an exerpt:
"Op basis van de inzage in zijn gegevens kan de betrokkene de organisatie verzoeken de gegevens te verbeteren, aan te vullen, te verwijderen of af te schermen. Dat kan als de gegevens die gebruikt worden door de organisatie feitelijk onjuist, onvolledig of niet ter zake dienend zijn voor het doel of de doeleinden van de verwerking."
In english:
"Based on the inspection of his data the person involved can request the organisation to correct, supplement, delete or block the data. This can be requested when the data that are being used by the organistion is factually invalid, incorrect or are irrelevant for the purpose or purposes of the processing"
After conferring with a befriended lawyer, processing can be read - in this case - as "usage" and the following conclusive in casu "being displayed".
Seeing that these forums serve a specific purpose, which has been made clear by the years of usage and presence of these forums as well as the existence of these forums for over 5 years without displaying my name, displaying my name instead of the (from then on forward) optional character(-name) does not serve the purpose of processing. Thus I am able to request blocking and/or removal of my data based on this.
Annotated to the above: This claim can still be seen as legally valid áfter consenting to the usage of my data in the aforementioned way should I have already, unknowingly, consented, again under Dutch Law.
Unknowingly Consenting can be the repeated approval of Terms of Service (ToS), Code of Conduct (CoC) and Online Privacy Policy(OPP)[1] in which the acceptance of the above can be seen as customary behaviour (in casu during a lot of patches a.e.). Apart from this fact, there is the issue that even if I consent to ToS, CoC OPP, when either of those is in conflict with the applicable law it is rendered obsolete due to being illegal since it does not respect the law.
[1] The Online Privacy Policy (http://eu.blizzard.com/en-gb/company/about/privacy.html) itself states:
Q u o t e:
This Privacy Policy respects all applicable laws on data protection.
Hence, in my case, being a resident of the Netherlands with the Dutch Nationality, Dutch Law on Data Protection (of which the above is an exerpt)
Q u o t e:
[...]You can also contact us if you wish to change the way in which we use your personal information[...]
This leads me to the conclusion that my aforementioned concerns and the concerns I raised in my post [http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=13816838128&postId=138154873331&sid=1#1176] are valid and thus my objection holds.
Seeing Activision-Blizzard nodoubtedly has a large legal department, I can only assume they have fleshed this out, could you please enlighten me how the above statements/claims hold with respect to the announced change?
Should the announced change be processed and should my name be displayed on these forums when I make a post after the change, or coupled to posts I have made and/or make prior to the change, or when the change is planned and finalized but not yet implemented (as is the case now) then you can regard this as my official request for blockage of my personal information which I gave you to be applicable for a then World of Warcraft-account, currently battle.net account for any and all uses beyond the scope of the registration for a then World of Warcraft-account, currently battle.net account as aforementioned. This on the grounds and concerns mentioned above. Do note that deletion or closure of the account is not a satisfyable nor valid measure with regards to your own policy and agreements made prior to this message.
With kind regards,
