TMZ has learned Dr. Conrad Murray has made it clear -- he will not take a plea bargain in the death of Michael Jackson.

Sources say Dr. Murray is adamant ... he did nothing wrong and will not plead to manslaughter or any lesser offense.

TMZ first broke the story of Dr. Murray's defense ... that Michael Jackson accidentally killed himself by self-injecting a fatal dose of Propofol into his bloodstream.

Dr. Murray, we're told, is "completely confident" that he will be found not guilty. He is less confident that the medical boards in Texas, Nevada and California will reach a similar result.

Dr. Murray is extremely relieved Judge Michael Pastor did not yank his California medical license yesterday. Nevertheless, he realizes it's all but inevitable all three medical boards will go after his license.

Een lang verhaal gaat het absoluut worden, maar het feit dat die gast op dit moment nog gewoon zijn license heeft is al van de zotte, toch?

Het is toch onvoorstelbaar schaamteloos dat Amerikaanse recht systeem Zelfs als MJ. was blijven leven, . Murray heeft hoe dan ook de eed van Hypocratus geschonden. En nog is zijn licence niet afgenomen. Ik kan er met mijn petje niet bij!

Uiteindelijk is MJ zelf de hoofdschuldige van zijn eigen dood. Hij wilde toch echt zelf die drugs hebben, niemand heeft hem daartoe verplicht...

Pfff, kwam er idd net achter dat dit een PRE preliminary hearing was. Het vaststellen van de rechter en het zetten van een nieuwe datum. Kan het allemaal nog langzamer?

Op TMZ een filmpje waarin Jermaine zegt (Joe heeft dat ook een paar keer gezegd) dat er veel medeplichtigen zijn. Uiteraard wil hij niet zeggen wie.

Is het strafbaar om dit hardop te zeggen? Het is echt weer zo'n Jackson ding om zo raadselachtig te doen...

There may be a clear explanation as to why Michael Jackson had trouble sleeping the night before he died -- authorities found a pill bottle in the room containing tablets that would have hyped the singer up big time.

The bottle, which had no label, contained 13 tablets. Each tablet had a combination of ephedrine, caffeine and aspirin. The commercial sale of ephedrine -- a stimulant designed for weight loss -- is banned in the U.S. because of reports of heart attacks, strokes and even death.

Each pill contained 25 mg of ephedrine, 200 mg of caffeine and 80 mg of aspirin. The caffeine alone in each pill is equivalent nearly a 6-pack of coca cola.

One company that manufactures the drug warns against using it past mid-afternoon, because it will cause insomnia.

According to the toxicology results, ephedrine was present in Jackson's urine.

Make no doubt about it. Conrad Murray (I will not do further damage to the profession of medicine by using his disgraced title) and his group of hired guns, otherwise known as defense attorneys, will sink to even lower depths as they try to save his freedom. For the record: I do not disparage all attorneys, only those that like their client will do anything for a buck. Or more correctly a lot of bucks.
When a perpetrator has no reasonable defense and nearly all hope is gone there is always one last desperate play: blame the victim.
I raped her cause she wanted it. The child had no loving father figure and wanted me to touch them. I only did it because I love her...She made me hit her. We've all heard it before and the world is very likely to hear it again when the victim, Michael Jackson, is put on trial instead of Conrad Murray.
The defense will spare no expense, truth or civility in their attempt to paint a very dark portrait of MJ the 'hopelessly addicted junkie' and probably far worse. They will add further spice as they include just a pinch of past troubles and allegations that have little if anything to do with his death. They will do their best to divert the attention away from their client and refocus the trial on the 'deeply troubled life of desperate man' that accidentally killed himself.
I pray (as a physician) that at the end of the day one question will be answered. Was it the reasonable standard of care in Los Angeles for a doctor to administer a powerful general anesthesia drug to a person in their bedroom that consequently caused the person (an alleged 'hopelessly addicted junkie or not) to die? Or was the doctor practicing sub-standard medicine, outside the scope of his training, in an inappropriate and insufficiently monitored setting?

Ik ben het in principe met Cavalier eens. MJ heeft er zelf voor gekozen om met drugs en pijnstillers in de weer te zijn. Stel dat Murray hem niet voorzien zou hebben had hij wel iemand anders of een andere manier gevonden om hem te voorzien. Als dokter heeft Murray niet goed gehandelt maar MJ kocht in principe zijn dealers/dokters maar de enige schuldige blijft hij toch zelf. Murray is vast niet de enige arts geweest die vet betaald werd om MJ te voorzien.
Verder heb ik ook gelezen dat MJ (samen met Janet) in hun jonge jaren aan bleeching verslaafd waren want ze vonden hun donkere huid maar niks. Hierdoor zou bij MJ vitiligo zijn ontstaan.

Heb je een bron voor de bewering dat je vitiligo kan krijgen door bleekcremes te gebruiken? Voor zover ik weet is het namelijk een auto-immuun ziekte die kan worden getriggerd door stress en/of traumatische ervaringen danwel genetische aanleg.

Natuurlijk heb je gelijk dat MJ nu niet dood zou zijn als hij niet aan pijnstillers e.d. verslaafd was geweest. Maar hij was waarschijnlijk ook niet dood geweest als Murray gewoon deed waarvoor hij betaald werd en waarvoor hij gestudeerd heeft (mag ik hopen) en niet zulke ongelovelijke debiele fouten heeft gemaakt. Daarom vind ik het wel terecht dat die rechtzaak er nu is. Iemand in een prive-omgeving een zwaar narcosemiddel toedienen dat normaal gezien alleen onder toezicht van een anaesthesist en in een ziekenhuis met alle nodige apparaten mag worden gebruikt is gewoon zwaar fout.

Mj had vitiligo, in het begin toen het goed zichtbaar werd heeft hij eerst de witte plekken donker gesminkt ,
toen de witte plekken groter werden en dit niet meer weg gewerkt kon worden heeft hij de donkere plekken gebleekt. Daarom werden er ook zoveel tubes bleekcreme gevonden.

Vitiligo is wat gifkwal zegt; auto-immuun ziekte die kan worden getriggerd door stress en/of traumatische ervaringen dan wel genetische aanleg.

Sorry, kan het niet laten om iets verder in te gaan op vitiligo/bleekcremes

Ik twijfel er niet aan dat hij bleekcremes is gaan gebruiken als gevolg van vitiligo, t.b.v. depigmentation therapy, wat meer vitiligo patienten ondergaan. Er zijn zat foto's te vinden waarop de vlekken door de make-up heen te zien zijn. Dit soort vlekken krijg je niet van een cremetje:

Bovendien is het zeer moeilijk om een gezonde huid compleet te bleken zoals bij hem het geval was. Dat soort bleekcremes werken alleen goed bij mensen waarbij het pigment is aangetast door bijv. vitiligo.
