Die wedstrijd is afgeblazen omdat het licht uitviel en ze het niet meer konden fixen, Tampa stond met 3-0 voor met nog 9 min te gaan in de 2e periode.

Who it truly sucks for is people like me, the little guy. This game was a Christmas present for my little brother, who I don't get to see nearly enough. I spent money I could spend on meals to give him a cool gift. Then these lights go out, and the rink is totally still playable, and let's be honest all of these players have played in darker arenas in minors/college/Siberia/whatever. Then we dick around for 2 hours only to have the game canceled. Now I have to wait to hear whether I'll get either a refund or a rain check to HALF of a game I might not be able to make with my team down 3-0.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are going to have to wait a little longer to end their 10-game losing streak against the New Jersey Devils.
How long? Nobody really knows after the Devils-Lightning game was suspended Friday night when a lighting problem on one side of the arena could not be fixed.
The teams waited almost two hours before the league decided to suspend the game with the Lightning leading 3-0 with 9:12 left in the period.
"We felt the teams could not continue playing," said Colin Campbell, the NHL's senior executive vice-president of hockey operations. "We tried for an hour and 52 minutes to restore power and appropriate lighting, but were left with no alternative but to postpone further play for the evening."
The game will resume at the point where play was stopped.

Nou EINDELIJK gewonnen van de Devils, in het 4de en laatste onderlinge duel dit seizoen.
1e => gelijkmaker van de Devils met minder dan een seconde te gaan in de 3rd, shootout verlies
2e => weer shootout verlies
3e => bij een gelijke stand in de laatste minuut van de wedstrijden scoren de Devils de winner
Overigens, vannacht scoorden ze alweer een goal in de laatste minuut maar gelukkig had Stamkos (na een geweldige actie van St Louis) ondertussen al voor een 4de goal gezorgd.

Gisteren de eerste 2 perioden van Ducks @ Hawks gezien. Ducks speelden vrij goed en wonnen dan ook met 3-1.

Zie dat Caps 4-1 achter stonden na 1e periode en in de 2e periode nog 4-4 hebben kunnen maken, maar werd al snel weer 5-4 voor Tampa. En in de 3e periode hebben ze de Caps goed uit de wedstrijd gehaald met fights/etc.
