Bushido - Way of the Warrior/Samurai.
quote:
A samurai with no attachment to a clan or lord was called a ronin. In Japanese, the word ronin means "wave man", a person destined to wander aimlessly forever, like the waves in the sea. The word came to mean a samurai who was no longer in the service of a lord because his lord had died, because the samurai had been banished or simply because the samurai chose to become a ronin.

The 9 principles of personal effectiveness.
1 - Think sincere: Lurn to know yourself. Use feedback to create a realistic self image, enhance your effectiveness and intensify cooperation with others. "Self knowledge is the beginning of all wisdom"
2 - The way consists of practice: Muscles and brains. "Practice makes perfect".
3 - Lurn to know all arts: Develop yourself broad. Depending on only one profession or knowledge area makes you vulnerable. Start, with the end in mind.
4 - Know the way of all professions: From the General to the kitchen. Lurn to speak the language of the other when needed. Make yourself an accepted, respected and valued speaker.
5 - Make distinction between profit and loss in worldly matters: Think in interests, questions and timing. We are like animals, lurn to use the emotional intelligence.
6 - Develop an intuitive judgement and understanding for everything: Lurn to trust your intuition.
7 - Observe things wich can't be seen yet: Be mindfull for the sudden, the hidden agenda, manipulation and the environment/ambiance. Lurn to be at your guard.
8 - Intentionally spend attention to the little things: a question, a loose remark, the conversation of the day.
9 - Only do that wich makes sense: Be aware and mindfull of the things you do. Set priorities.
Know and accept one's fate, and to live for human beings and all other creatures.
Know that patience comes first.
Know that the path of humanity comes forth from justice.
Don't hold on to greed, cupidity, hatret, stubborness and eagerness.
Accept los, grieves and worries as natural and inevitable.
Don't deviate from the path of loyalty and brotherly love.
"Consider that which exists to exist and that which does not exist to not exist, and recognize things just as they are. With such a frame of mind, one will have divine protection even though he does not pray." - Hojo Nagauji (1432-1519)
