Yo,
To all those out there that have supported me over the years, I wanted to let you know that I will soon be releasing what may well be my final contribution to the DnB Scene,
a Tali E.P to be released on Shimon's 'Audioporn Records'.
I say my "final contribution" because I would like to officially announce that come next year I will be retiring from Drum N Bass.
This is not because I have fallen out of love with this wonderful scene, but because there comes a time in everyones life where you have to reassess and think about where you are going with your future, and for me that is now.
As much as I love MCing, I feel I have gone as far as I can go.
After ten years as an established MC, I have released A LOT of music - singles and remixes, as well as an album, toured the world several times, worked with numerous artists and producers, won awards, and are considered the number one female DnB MCin the world.
When I think about what I have achieved in DnB, I am very, very proud. But I am also realistic, I don't wanna be say, 35 and jumping around on stage at 3am still MCing in years to come!.
I want to create opportunities for myself while I'm still young enough too, and I feel I have gone as far as I can in DnB, so the next logical step is to try my hand at other things.
I am a very busy person, so something has to give, and after ten years in this wonderful, exciting scene, I feel what has to give is MCing.
I also want to have a family (I recently got engaged!) and in order to provide for myself and contribute financially to my relationship I need to look at doing other things that will see me and my future family, through these forthcoming years.

I recently started a live Jazz/Soul Band called Rogue Nouveau (www.myspace.com/roguenouveau) which has been doing very well and I hope to continue with this, as lets face it, I love to perform!
I am also in talks with a major label who are wanting to sign me as a songwriter, which would enable me to live out a life long dream of being a songwriter for other artists.
I want to travel on my own terms, and really see the world, and eventually start a family, and in order to do all these things I feel it best that come early next year I will be retiring from Drum n Bass as an MC.

For all those promoters out there who have been thinking of booking me soon and haven't yet, you better get a move on, cos once I step out it will be very hard to get me to step back in! (unless its for some amazingly huge event with lots of money haha)
I would love to come and see Japan again, visit South America for the first time and visit all the other incredible places that have helped shape my way as an MC in this scene.
