Verder heb ik 11 films van jouw lijst gezien
Seven Samurai vind ik een erg goeie film, maar tegelijkertijd ook wel een beetje overgewaardeerd. Hij is wat langdradig en bijv. Yojimbo vind ik een veel betere uitwerking van dat type verhaal. Nu ik trouwens meer Japanse Samurai-films uit de jaren 50 en 60 zie merk ik dat er sowieso een hoop andere interessante films zijn in dat genre.

Natuurlijk. Het is voornamelijk jeudgsentiment. Als klein Gorrootje was ik helemaal weg van die film, maar ook nu vind ik hem nog erg sterk. De mix van actie, special effects, coole one-liners en boeiend verhaal is perfect gebalanceerd.
