The Beastie Boys - (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)

German thrash metal band Holy Moses has covered the song.

1979 - Renegades of Funk - Rage Against The Machine





In 2000, Rage Against the Machine recorded the song for their cover album Renegades. They played it live for the first time at their reunion show at Coachella 2007. The music video directed by Steven Murashige was a montage of film stocked footage clips, as the band had broken up when the video was released.

"Renegades of Funk" is a song written by Afrika Bambaataa, Arthur Baker, John Miller & John Robie and recorded by Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force. Released in 1983 as a single on the Tommy Boy label, it was also included on the 1986 album Planet Rock: The Album. The song is an eclectic fusion of electronic music and heavy percussion, with politically fused rap lyrics that draw a connection between past revolutionaries and bohemians to present day street artists. It was produced and mixed by Arthur Baker and John Robie.





Part of the song was featured in "Weird Al" Yankovic's song "Angry White Boy Polka" on his album Poodle Hat.

Abba is een afschuwelijke band die zich op de en of andere manier in ons collectieve geheugen heeft genesteld.
Daarom horen ze stiekem in de top 2000, maar wel lekker laag.
En dan maar Dancing queen omdat het een hit was in 1977.

Volgens Wikipedia is The Prodigy één van de succesvolste acts die de dansmuziek van de jaren '90 van de twintigste eeuw hebben voortgebracht. Breathe is al de twaalfde single van The Prodigy en komt van het commercieel zeer succesvolle album The Fat of the Land.
