LAX Walks Out
After filming a segment for TNA iMPACT!, both members of LAX decided to walk out immediately afterwards.
Splitting Up
The main source of discontent for Homicide and Hernandez right now is that they're against TNA's decision to split them up as a tag team.
Both men feel that they're much more valuable right now as a tag team.
The company, however, wants to split them up and use them as singles wrestlers.
Homicide would be utilized in the X division while Hernandez would get a singles push in the main division.
TNA has hopes that Hernandez could eventually become a main event wrestler.
Contract Status
Another interesting twist in this entire story is that both wrestlers are set to become free agents pretty soon.
Hernandez becomes a free agent in December. Homicide becomes a free agent in March.
Homicide is one of the more entertaining in-ring performers in the business, but he doesn't necessarily fit the mold that WWE is looking for.
Hernandez, though, could be an interesting pickup for WWE since he has size and incredible agility.
If both wrestlers want to remain a tag team, though, they're better off doing it in TNA than in WWE.
Keep Them Together
TNA should seriously reconsider their plans and allow LAX to continue operating as a tag team.
Right now, their tag team division basically consists of the Motor City Machine Guns, the Rock & Rave Connection, Beer Money Inc, and Team 3D.
TNA also utilizes some temporary tag teams as well (Abyss & Matt Morgan, Curry Man & Shark Boy & Super Eric, Christian Cage & Rhino).
Keeping LAX around should be a priority.
Not only does it keep the depth in the tag team division up, but LAX constantly puts on great performances at the pay per views.
While it would be nice to see Hernandez eventually getting a singles push, things are a bit crowded right now in that division.
TNA still has Matt Morgan waiting in the wings for a singles push.
