Ik moet toegeven dat ik dat "niet-Amerikaanse" vrij ruim genomen heb. Films mochten voor dit lijstje geproduceerd zijn door Amerikanen of gefinancierd zijn door Amerikaanse studio's, als de inhoud en de cast/crew maar duidelijk niet-Amerikaans was.

Ik dacht trouwens dat het wel een stuk makkelijker zou zijn om zo'n lijstje samen te stellen als je alle Amerikaanse films eruit gooit. Maar dat viel erg tegen: Ik had met gemak een top 200 kunnen samenstellen van films die ik echt goed vindt.

edit: nog snel even The Age of Innocence eruit gehaald, want die is toch echt Amerikaans.

edit 2: ik moet nog even de opmerking maken dat bij een aantal films zowel de originele titel als de bekendere Engelse titel zijn weergegeven. In dat geval staat er dan een schuin streepje tussen die twee namen.
