Viel me ook wel op eigenlijk, dat college football groter lijkt te zijn dan NFL. Ik heb bijna geen mensen met NFL shirts zien lopen (op wat Charger fans in San Diego na), maar wel ontzettend veel mensen met shirts en sweaters van college teams uit het hele land.

Maar ga vanaf september stage lopen (lol, bijna klaar met de studie dus), en weet niet of ik dan veel tijd heb om het allemaal bij te houden.

Favre, who retired in April, hasn't made a decision on whether to send in his reinstatement letter. He would need to do that to report to camp.

Favre has asked to be released from his contract and is aware of the Jets' and Bucs' interest, the source said. The Packers have no intention of releasing Favre from his contract, which expires after the 2010 season.

The Packers made phone calls Tuesday to several teams after being encouraged by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to resolve the controversy surrounding Favre before camp opens, according to league and players union sources.

The apparent plan is to use the televised broadcast, with ads sold specifically for the web sites inserted in place of the commercials.

Other NFL broadcast partners aren’t happy with the development, according to SBJ.

“The NFL is changing the rules as we go,” a network source told SBJ. “The right to stream games was not in any of the contracts we signed.”

NBC also might face friction from affiliates who’ll lose ratings points to folks who watch the game on the Internet instead.
