Beste Wehkamp,
I apologise that my written Dutch is not perfect, so I hope it is OK to write to you in English.
(I attempted to send this message via your website, to the beautiful 'Sanne', but got an error message that said the data was too small (!) )
Maybe this way will work (something has to work )
Please see below my email to a Dutch friend to whom I recommended Wehkamp when he needed a new TV. I then followed HIS advice in also ordering a TV from you......the whole procedure has left us completely confused and frustrated. I was a very happy customer of yours until this, as you will see.
Maybe there's something of use to you in terms of improving website information and telephone service with regard to big items in the future.
This is not a complaint as such, but a client observation, albeit a not very happy client right now....

"You should call Wehkamp again tomorrow to try - against all hope - to make a delivery appointment.
Your payment must have gone through their system by now!!
Can't believe how crap and unclear they are when you order so-called 'big items', seeing as they are completely amazing with small ones. (they are seriously brilliant with clothes and stuff).
The advantage for me is that I'm a few days behind you in this whole messy, uninformative 'Big' order process, so I at least have a clue what to expect.....and how long I have to sit and wait for information.....never mind organising the eventual delivery of the order. Hey ho.....
In short: It's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like they say on their website!
Big items are obviously not their fortè. (or they know that if they were honest about how long and complicated it is, nobody would order anything over a ¤ 100 from them!)
Naughty Wehkamp. But at least when they do finally deliver (I hope), it won't be full of dents and weird purple colour patches on the screen, like my curent telly, deliverd by normal post. (Okay, that was a bad decision!!)
Komt wel goed....but evidently information/communciation is shockingly lacking and bad on Wehkamp with these big items. They won't get my vote. (they would have before. I was completely impressed with them up until now.)
You should email this exchange to them. Or google 'Wehkamp complaints' on the net. We can't be the only two people that have ordered something, phoned various Wehkamp numbers and still not have a clue what's going on with our orders! And even though we have the money waiting in our accounts: not even been given the option to pay with Ideal - which is the usual step in the online order process- Instead suddenly finding you've placed an order without having seen the delivery costs or total bill. And then - to add insult to injury - be rejected by the betaaallijn when you type your klantnummer in and try to pay them!!!
I'm sure there's a good reason for this, to avoid fraud/theft or something, but they should inform people who are making 'big orders' about this clearly beforehand. Even when you phone as many numbers as you can find on thier site and get through the menus, nobody seems to be able be upfront about this whole cautious procedure.
I'm almost sorry I recommended them to you, but maybe once the mist clears and they finally let you know what's happening, you'll end up with a beautiful telly that works and doesn't have dents all over it from being whacked around like a volleyball from Asia to the Amsterdam.
I hope.....
So far experience of ordering their big items doesn't promise much.....Christ only knows what to expect. Completely confusing procedure, with no information along the way.
I hope they call you soon about it and you get your lovely new telly and eventually forget I put you through all this confusion!
Sorry.....
