Dr. Strangelove is zeker niet slecht. Sterker nog ik vind het één van de sterkere films uit het oeuvre van Kubrick. Alleen wat ik niet wil begrijpen is dat Peter Sellers met zijn drie rollen zo omhoog gewaardeerd is, terwijl George C. Maar eigenlijk... Engelse humor
, dat is echt het allerslechtste soort humor. Zelfs poep- en pishumor weet me nog meer tot lachen te brengen dan die zogenaamde garpjes, die met die aldoor kinderachtige Engelse intonatie gebracht moet worden

Ach ja humor is natuurlijk erg persoonlijk. Ik snap bijvoorbeeld niks van de humor van Wim Sonneveld en Toon Hermans. Maar als er mensen lol aan hebben prima. Maar je moet eens Jimmy Carr downloaden. Deze Britse komiek is werkelijk geweldig. Als je hier niet om kan lachen ben je echt een zuurpuim..... of een die hard christen.... of een heterofoob.... of iemand die de humor van sex and the city behoorlijk vergaand vind...quote:Op vrijdag 28 december 2007 01:45 schreef Falco het volgende:

Één van de weinige komedies die ook echt leuk is (op de lame seksverwijzingen na). Er zijn maar iets van 10 films die ik daadwerkelijk grappig vind, en dat zijn meestal niet eens pure komedies. En daarnaast de mix tussen beeld en geluid is gewoon perfect (Johnny comes marching home, slotscene). Het is ook nog eens veel meer dan een komedie, en dat is wel eens een fijne ervaring, tussen de bagger als A Fish Called Wanda.quote:Op vrijdag 28 december 2007 01:36 schreef Mainport het volgende:

De (overduidelijke) symboliek is erg sterk. Het mooie is dat het totaal niet ver van de waarheid ligt, ook al wordt het door de absurditeit wel zo gerepresenteerd.
Match Point vind ik overigens ook erg goed hoor
Huh, ik vind Dr. Strangelove ook beter en leuker dan Match Point, maar Match Point vind ik veel Engelser, dus daardoor mijn stem.
