Da's al een tijdje bekend, en aangezien dat een zomerserie is zal die sowieso geen last hebben van de staking (tenzij die nog een half jaar aanhoudt).

TVP! Begin afkickverschijnselen te vertonen dat dit al de 2e week wordt zonde verse The Office afleveringen.. en ik voel al aankomen dat Lost straks verneukt wordt door een halfbakken seizoen Dan liever niets uitzenden totdat ze gewoon een heel seizoen kunnen maken.

Zou het voor die organisaties niet goedkoper zijn om de schrijvers gewoon te betalen dan dat ze dit 21 miljoen per dag kost? Of is dat een beetje overdreven bedrag?

NBC will be giving viewers a heavy dose of reality after the first of the year. Faced with the possibility, if not the probability, of a prolonged writers' strike, the network unveiled midseason plans Thursday that include the return of The Biggest Loser and 1 vs. 100 and the debut of American Gladiators. The network had already announced that Celebrity Apprentice will launch on Thursday, Jan. 3. Three other reality shows are due to air later in midseason: Amnesia, The Baby Borrowers, and My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad.

The 75 nonstriking staff members of Late Night With Conan O'Brien will continue to receive paychecks courtesy of O'Brien himself beginning next week, an NBC spokeswoman said Thursday. According to today's New York Times, the out-of-pocket expense to O'Brien will be about $200,000 a week. Until now, the staffers had been receiving paychecks from the network itself -- as had the staff of The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Staffers of Late Show With David Letterman and Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson are receiving checks from Letterman's company, Worldwide Pants, which owns both shows. The staff of ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! will continue to be paid by the network. Today's Washington Post said that Leno has no plans to follow the lead of his late-night rivals, although a press representative told the newspaper that Leno has been providing holiday bonuses to the staffers.

Ik kon me ook niet voorstellen dat de studio's zo dom zouden zijn hun poot stijf te houden, maar ik vrees het ergste. Nou ja, we hebben tenminste nog Jericho en The Shield te goed, die zijn als het goed is allebei al gefilmd en af.

Het zou me niet verbazen indien sommige series gewoon een jaar zullen stil liggen.

Ik ga alle seizoenen van Survivor maar eens inhalen Heb ik tenminste nog wat te doen!

Genereus gebaar

Yup, Jay Leno doet het nu ook, dus Letterman, Leno en O'Brien doen nu hetzelfde.

Ik heb tot nu toe nog geen last van de staking met mijn programma's, maar dat zal na deze week wel gebeuren.... Vandaag in ieder geval maar de laatste aflevering van Desperate Housewives kijken.

Het was uiteindelijk toch niet zo'n slecht idee van me om Lost en 24 pas te gaan kijken als het seizoen afgelopen is. Die zijn te spannend om elke keer een week te moeten wachten.

Zijn ze overigens nou nog steeds aan het onderhandelen? Ik zie al een weekje geen nieuws meer over de staking eigenlijk.

Ik hoop dat ze wel doorgan met Bionic Woman. Ik denk dat deze staking het slechtst is voor series die net zijn begonnen.

Ik hoop dat Journeyman de staking overleefd, maar het ziet er slecht uit
