This album is amazing and has something for everyone. It will blow people away and people won’t question that she is back.” According to New York’s Daily News, Spears will perform the song while renegade illusionist Criss Angel makes her seem to disappear at September 9th’s MTV Video Music Awards.

Wat een slechte k*plaat. Hoorde nog een nummer: Cold As Fire... net zo beroerd. Kan dat kind eens met een normale stem gaan zingen!

ik vind het wel een geinig liedje, idd niet baanbrekend maar wel typisch britney: kind kan gewoon geen serieuze muziek maken, niet serieus zingen, maar een prima popplaat.

Gimme More is being played on 19 stations around the country, which is typical for a superstar record in its first few days.
This airplay is not near enough to get her a debut on next weeks’ HOT 100.

KSMB-FM in Lafayette, LA, near Spears hometown of Kentwood, has played the song more than any other station in the country- A LOT more!
We are also hearing that the 2 most IMPORTANT stations in the country (Z100 in NY and KIIS FM in LA) are giving it “curiosity play” just because Brit is a star AND because JIVE gave them the single before any other station, hoping that the “exclusive” would create some buzz.
Some stations are apparently getting Negative feedback on the song. Listeners are wondering why the stations are playing the record.
BOTTOM LINE … We will NOT know if this single is a hit or flop until 2 weeks from now, to see see if AFTER RESEARCH they are still playing the song AND to see if ANYONE buys it when released!

De muziek van zowel Gimme More als Cold as ice vind ik goed te pruimen, alleen jammer dat er ook nog vocalen bij zitten. Haar stem op Cold as ice werd op YouTube omschreven als 'een zesjarige op helium' en dat vind ik best treffend.
