Boekbesprekingen, vragen over schrijvers, je favoriete theaterstuk, de mooiste schilderijen of de beste musea. Een must voor alle liefhebbers van kunst, boeken, theater en taal.
Mij werd gevraagd te kijken of ik een brief in het engels kon screenen op fouten. Nu zie ik zelfs wel dat er veel fouten in de brief zitten , maar toch ben ik er niet zeker van dat ik alle fouten eruit zal halen. De brief is echt van een bedroevend niveau, dus maak je borst maar nat.
Wie zou me willen helpen (op dit moment) om de tekst goed te verbeteren? Bedankt.

Ik had best een poging willen wagen, maar het is zo slecht dat ik er echt niet uit kan halen wat er uberhaupt bedoeld wordt... Volgens mij kan je die vent beter vragen wat hij nou eigenlijk wil zeggen en dan een geheel nieuwe brief schrijven.

Het "please" zit ook wel erg misplaatst in die zin.
Maar goed. Ik hoop dus van harte dat "dus klaar nu" niet betekent dat 'ie zo verstuurd is, want die waslijst die ik er nu zo even uit vis is nog niet eens compleet...
Waarom alles in voltooid verleden tijd? Dingen als "During these years P had shown talent and skills beyond what we had expected from him" kun je toch beter formuleren als "During these years P has shown his talents and skills are beyond expectations."
