The ps3 2.00 update is fake!

Possible leaking, conspiracy theories, and coverups are among the thoughts and minds of the PS3 online community, as thousands of gamers sink their teeth into the rumored feature list of the supposed 2.00 firmware update.

The truth of the matter is that the so-called v2.00 update was, and is, a wishlist of features that certain individuals wanted to acquire on the PS3. There is no 2.00 update with the listed features coming any time soon!

The following list of features was thought to be included in the fantasized 2.00 update, provided by "Leah", of the PlayStation Underground forums:

This list is completely false. The Sony Press Center also has no listing of such a firmware in development, even though various sources (who do not have access to the source) claim that it is listed.

Furthermore, we have contacted several folks we know down at Sony, and all deny any knowledge of such a firmware in development.

As true and plausible as the rumored 2.00 update may seem, it's not coming any time soon, if at all. All of this hubbub about 2.00 this and that is pure fantasy, and all sources who claim they have some sort of connection to the source for the news are lying.

Sorry to burst the bubble, but somebody had to do it!

Leah, the original spreader of the 2.00 update rumors, claims that her account on the PlayStation forums was hacked, and that everything about the update is false. Be warned that this whole features list and update shenanigan was not hype created by Sony marketers; there never was development for the 2.00 firmware in the first place, and there's still many, many months before it will be released!

afgelopen week de tv besteld, krijg um donderdag binnen. Kan niet vertellen of ie goed is bij de ps3 want die heb ik (nog) niet. Kan je donderdag wel laten weten of de tv bevalt.

ik heb hem gister gezien bij de media markt! vind het disign van die samsung erg strak. ik was aan twijfelen tussen een sony bravia nog wat en die samsung dus... ik vind de samsung strakker er uit zijn... kwa beeld kwaliteit weet ik niet. maar die sony was ook 400 euro duurder. sony had contrastratio van 1: 7000 en samsung 1:8000. allebij zijn het 82 cm of 32 inch.

Mag ik vragen voor welk bedrag hij bij de mediamarkt staat? ikzelf heb um voor 700e kunnen bemachtigen.

Ik was van plan om eerst lcd tv aan te schaffen en dan de ps3, dus zit op de helft.

900e dat is me ff een groot verschil... is het wel het nieuwe model bij jou dan met onder in een blauwe lamp gloed zeg maar..??

ik heb zelf helaas de versie daarvoor een aantal weken geleden gehaald, eigenlijk te snel gekocht, maar de tv past qua design perfect bij de ps3 =], het beeld is super, alleen wat weinig modes om beeld te veranderen (4:3, auto-breed, 16:9 en zoom) geluid is bij mijne ook minder, maar heb hem op stereo aangesloten dus np daarmee

en met bluray & pc ziet het er ook super uit =]

en ze zijn nog triest bezig ook die lui van sony PlayStation 3 wederom gepromoot met PGR3 (X360, PS3 - In een reclamekrantje van elektronicaketen Media Markt heeft men de Xbox 360 game Project Gotham Racing 3 gebruikt bij een advertentie voor de PlayStation 3. Eerder werd PGR3 ook al gebruikt voor een reclame van Gran Turismo en vorige week werd PGR3 getoond als een PS3 game op een KIA website.

Als Uncharted: Drake's Fortune uitkomt en die blijkt ECHT goed te zijn dan zie ik mezelf wel een PS3 kopen.

Het ziet er zeker goed uit alleen soms vind ik het nog wat te plastic achtig.

Ah shit man... Dan doe ik mn PS3 maar weer weg als je het zo brengt...

Bushnell was een stuk minder positief over Sony’s Playstation 3. Het was altijd al lastig voor gamesontwikkelaars om samen te werken met Sony, maar door het gigantische aantal PS2-gebruikers kon Sony voorheen wegkomen met zijn arrogantie en wispelturigheid. De ontwikkeltools voor de Playstation waren ook altijd al slecht, zeker nu ze vergeleken worden met de goede ontwikkeltools voor de Xbox 360.

Bushnell denkt dat een externe ontwikkelaar wel gek moet zijn wil deze games gaan ontwikkelen voor alleen de PS3 en niet de Xbox 360. Bushnell is van mening dat gamers zich niet laten overtuigen door de kracht van de hardware, maar door de software die voor de console beschikbaar is.

En gratis klooien met PS3-Home lijkt me nu ook niet meer leuk . En de films die ik op blu-ray heb vind ik nu ook opeens niet meer mooi

Dan houd ik het maar weer alleen bij mijn xbox360 die nooit vastloopt en van die fijne betrouwbare hardware heeft.. En waarvan het spellen aanbod zo enorm goed is dat ik de afgelopen 4 maanden er geen spel meer voor heb gekocht

PSU's educated guess says Pro Evolution Soccer 7 (European title) is likely to be released in October, while North America will get it (as Winning Eleven 200 early 2008.

Jij had dus ook een hekel aan de dualshock zoals mij. Ik was eraan verplicht om te wennen sinds ik een ps2 had en nu vind ik het wel heel erg fijn.

Als Konami een licentie koopt voor PES, is dat meteen voor elke console.. Ze hoeven niet per console een licentie te betalen.
