Cellos, guitars, other musical instruments and fragile items are accepted for carriage in the cabin if a special ticket has been purchased for their transportation. The items will be placed on the seat next to the passenger. The maximum weight of each item may not exceed 32 kg and the overall dimensions are limited to:
cello and guitar: 35x50x150 cm (Boeing flights, Bombardier CS300 flights) or 35x40x135 cm (Bombardier Q400 flights);
other items: 43x45x95 cm (Boeing flights, Bombardier CS300 flights) or 42x43x85 cm (Bombardier Q400 flights).
Tickets for cellos, guitars, other musical instruments or fragile items can be purchased at airBaltic ticket offices or travel agencies only, together with an adult ticket. Cellos, guitars, other musical instruments or fragile items with a ticket booked online WILL NOT be accepted for carriage. Met AIr Baltic heb ik overigens goede ervaringen, ok, ik neem dan geen gitaar mee maar wel een fiets.
