Het zijn "maar" critics, dus geen garantie op verder succes, maar natuurlijk wel een serieuze indicatie. Desalniettemin... Boyhood? Really? Leuke experimentje en ik heb de meeste andere frontrunners niet gezien, maar ik kan me nauwelijks voorstellen dat er niets beters tussen zat dan Boyhood. Het zou ook raar zijn dat, in een jaar waarin wordt gezegd dat best actor nog nooit zo sterk is geweest, er een film met een extreem nietszeggende hoofdrolspeler met beste film aan de haal zou gaan. Al kan je daar wel zeggen dat het feit dat het joch zich ontwikkelde tot een vrij oninteressant figuur nu eenmaal het verhaal van Boyhood is. Of zo.quote:Best Picture "Boyhood"

Alleen Mad Max vind ik wel een niveau hoger dan de rest, maar ook daar ben ik al tevreden indien Miller iets krijgt.
