What drives you? Actually, what do you drive, an Integra, Civic or maybe 240? Yeah, you might love it--that ride is probably the love of your life--just don't tell your girlie, friend. But as much as you love that car of yours, there's always that one bastard with a better car.

Life is cruel and theres always somebody with the better toy. You know who we're talking 'bout. It's that guy, he rolls into the club with the sweet ride, and then, as if he hasn't embarrassed you enough, he and three gorgeous ladies exit the vehicle without another sausage to cramp his playboy style. Yeah, threes company, only if its you and three ladies.

Well, John Pangilinan, he's that damn guy. If you don't believe us, then just take a look at the car: one 2000 BMW 3-Series sedan, but not just any sedan--that would more weak sauce than a Mustang at an import show. This a Red Brandywine hued number with more mods than we can keep track of. And, truthfully, it makes us cry like little girls and wish we had the dedication, money and sponsors to pull the same feat.

By now youve read a few features, youre probably a connoisseur of sorts. You know how one of these features works, don't you? The owner has a mod list commonly called a "spec sheet." It's a document full of the stuff that makes the custom car what it is. Some owners proudly carry the document in their wallet in the hopes someone will ask what theyve got. Then these gods among men display the list as if its their first-born.

This same spec sheet is also the document that makes brainless, slightly incompetent, but dead sexy journalists like I look like a freakin' automotive expert. We basically ramble off the slew of goodies in a prose format. It makes it easier for us to write these stories. And if its easier to write a story then we can spend less time writing and more time hitting on ladies--er, um, we mean, telling models that were "photographers" and would love to shoot them. That really is, like, the best line.

Just this once, we're not going to do that. Why? Well, because we (we being, me) don't feel like it and this car deserves much more respect than a recycled spec sheet. We'll leave the unimaginative stuff to those slow-ass print magazines that only come out once a month with coverage that's three months too late.

Anyway, onto the car (and you thought wed never start). Wait a sec, we take back the comment about not rambling off a few things on the spec sheet. There's no way around that and we must mention a bit of work on the car, but this is just because we spotted this clean German at Drift Showoff a few months back. No mind that the House of Kolors Kandy Red Brandywine (we love saying that, say it, you'll love it, too) is so sweet you wanna either lick or bite it off starting with those fender flares and finish it off with biggie Rieger front bumper.

We'd give those massive 14-inch Brembo big brake kit (with modular hat/rotor) a good lick, as it's sprayed with the same fuscia-like House of Kolors paint, but last time we did something of the sort we had blisters in places we won't mention here. No matter, even if we were drunk enough (and believe us, we can get happy) to try, our Gene Simmons-length tongues wouldn't get past the 19-inch, 3-piece DTM wheels. Wed have to save our pennies for almost a year to buy these uber-wide chromed and polished wheels. How wide? 9-inches up front and, just like J.Lo, 10-inches in the rear.

But the exterior on Johns Bimmer isnt the big deal. Its nice and all with its Angel Eyes, carbon fiber front diffuser, Kerscher body parts and stuff, but the interior is what gets us all warm and fuzzy. JP is a thinking man and as such knows that the interior is key. You dont see your exterior much when driving around; its the interior that is your home-away-from-home. John seems to agree. We didnt like John very much to begin with; after seeing his interior we really hate him.

Anyway, the interior has a bunch of Swiss Audio stuff, we dont really know what most of it does, but it sure is pretty. We can only imagine driving this dream of a car, cruising down PCH at sunset with Mercedes (the girl, not the car) at our side. Itd be a beautiful life.

Youll find the engine work list below, frankly, were too bitter to keep writing. So, in retrospect, we don't really hate John, we don't loathe him. Maybe we're a little bit jealous--okay, were a whole lot jealous. Mostly, we just want to beat the living ship out of him, kick him while he's down, take the keys and maybe pretend we're him--if only for a few minutes--before the News choppers and friendly people at CHP join in the fun. Hopefully, those three ladies weren't quick enough to egress from the Red Brandywine 3. Actually, this thing probably has LoJack, too...
