Ze spelen gewoon van hun eerste drie albums veel nummers goed gevarieerd niets mis mee. Nu klasieker Unfinished Sympatie tochwel heel goed deed me toen het een hitje was niets maar zo op een concert door mijn bose boxen 
Wil je niet te lekker maken haahaha(was je melig toen je die nick bedacht? ) 
Nu een favoriet van mij bijna vetter als Angel Group Four echt heel gaaf! Op t ene moment heel relaxed maar toch de hele tijd creepy en dan weer heel heftig YEAH!
En op het hoogtepunt moet je stoppen dus dat deden ze maar

. Je krijgt naast de diepe bass klanken en massive beats een hoop info naar je hoofd via een loei groot scherm. vooral de virtuele trip door een sterrenstelsel is strak gemaakt. Mensen die ook gaan hebben volgende week zeker een hele toffe avond voor de boeg.

Massive Attack are planning to release their second single from 100th Window, "Butterfly Caught", on June 9th. According to NME.com, the single will be available on CD and 12", as well as in a DVD version with videos and live footage. But what makes this single noteworthy are the four artists whose remixes it will include: Def Jux instrumental hip-hop guru Rjd2, Detroit techno outfit Octave One, Leftfield's Paul Daley, and Jagz Kooner, formerly of The Aloof and The Sabres of Paradise.These artists are all no doubt thrilled to work with someone as not a pedophile as the man behind the 100th Window, Robert "3D" Del Naja. As previously reported, 3D went through some difficult times recently when he was investigated, and ultimately cleared, on suspicions of child pornography. After being cleared, Del Naja spoke to British paper The Guardian and explained that he believed he was investigated because his credit card details were on file with a company that runs hundreds of porn sites, "some of which are absolutely vile, hideous," and some of which are the upstanding type of porn that Del Naja says he's always been upfront about enjoying.
The scrutiny made recent months "the hardest time in my life," Del Naja confessed. "I had to go on tour with those allegations in the air, which was horrendous. I didn't want to wallow in self-pity or martyr myself on stage. I decided not to get involved with making comments in the press, so I made a statement to the audience each night-- 'If everyone's here, I guess you don't believe these ridiculous charges'-- which got a big cheer. That's how it went down... You can say that it's a load of bollocks, but once it's written down, it's written down. It could come up in my obituary. All the things I've done in my life and that might come up. What's that about? I feel shattered, but you learn from it. When I wake up in the morning I get that sinking feeling. But you have to deal with it, you have to go forward. It's given me a lot more resolve to do what I want to do."
We here at Pitchfork, who were saddened to dismiss 100th Window with a sigh and a 5.1, hope this means that the next Massive Attack album, which is rumored to be released early next year, will be better. That album will see the return of Massive Attack's other remaining member, Grant "Daddy G" Marshall, as well as possible guest spots by Tom Waits and Mos Def.

Wat ontzettend relaxed dat er een topic is over Massive Attack! Ze zijn echt de beste, alleen snapt niemand dat hier in mn omgeving (nou ja, op 1 iemand na dan). Vooral ' Protection' en ' Teardrop' zijn fantastische nummers! Ik ben ook groot fan van Sinead O' Connor en vond het dus geweldig dat zij meedeed op het nieuwe album! The long rumoured Dandy Warhols / Massive Attack collaboration is definitely happened.Dandy Warhols frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor has confirmed to Undercover News that they have been working on the album but took a break to release their own records. He plans on getting back together with Massive Attack to finish off the project with the intention of releasing a joint album. "On and off we keep chiseling away at this sculpture we're sort of making" he tells Undercover. "Now we've both released records so we're busy on tour a lot. We played together in Holland, so we were talking about what to do and we're thinking since we've just built a new studio we should have them come to Portland and we're thinking maybe next Fall".
Massive Attack and Dandy Warhols have had an ongoing relationship over the years. Massive Attack remixed tracks for The Dandy's Godless EP in 2001. Their was also the collaboration 'House of Yes' performed together but not yet recorded
Courtney has some other confidential news he doesn't mind blabbing. Dandy Warhols will be on Big Day Out 2004. "We don't get a break from touring until the Big Day Out" he says. "We're on the Big Day Out, although they've now told us that they don't announce it until October, they never told us ahead of time so now we're just blabbing up a storm".
Het ligt een beetje tussen trip-hop, Acid Jazz en Rap in.. maar het geluid komt over als een schilderij
Ik zag in het begin van deze topic wat namen....van vergelijkbare bands (staat inmiddels op de download).
Een band die (ik nog miste) en muzikaal erg dicht in de kwaliteit van Massive Attack ligt is "Kruder & Dorfmeister - K&D Sessions".... een coctail tussen Acid Jazz, Jungle, Dub en trip hop.......
