Spurs fan ban for pitch invasion
Timothy Smith
Smith interrupted Chelsea's celebrations at White Hart Lane
A Spurs fan who ran onto the pitch when the club lost to Chelsea and aimed a punch at Frank Lampard has been banned from football matches for three years.
Timothy Smith, 18, was arrested as Chelsea celebrated their 2-1 win at White Hart Lane on 19 March.
Smith, of Ruscombe Gardens, Slough, Berks, pleaded guilty to encroaching onto the pitch when he appeared before Haringey Magistrates on Tuesday.
Tottenham Hotspur FC has already banned Smith from White Hart Lane for life.
He was fined Ŗ300 and ordered to pay another Ŗ50 in costs.
Simon Barritt, 28, from Chatham, Kent, who was also charged with encroaching onto the pitch at the FA Cup game, received an identical ban and Ŗ300 fine at the same court.
The order means they cannot attend any regulated matches in England or Wales and will have to report to a police station to surrender their passports before overseas games.
