Een kennis van mij zit in Amerika en hij wilt iets voor mij kopen.
Maar nu schijnen de kledingmaten daar anders te zijn dan hier.
Wie kan mij vertellen hoe ik dit kan converteren. Ik heb M voor shirt en M voor broek
voor jeans 30/32 en voor pantalon 36/38

I'm not sure I understand. A friend of yours is in America and wants to buy something for you but the clothing sizes are different there than in Europe. Who can tell you how to convert the sizes? It makes a difference in shoes ... for example 41 is 8.5 in mens and 10 in womens. It's probably safest for him to get you a sweater ... but what clothing does he want to get? It depends on the brand as to whether it fits big or small and what size you need.
You probably need something between a size 6 and 8. The classic styles (usually more expensive), you need a 6 and the stuff like GAP, you need probably an 8 but some of their clothes fit a little big ... pretty much need to try it.]
Its for Victoria's secret, there is a table at their site but I dont understand it. I understand the part of bra size but not this I hope you can help me:

Die Lingerie en sleepwear en die standard chart lijken mij vrij duidelijk.
De onderste regel is volgens mij zoals onze maten hier zijn. En dan moet die
persoon in de US dus even kijken wat een beetje overeen komt met de amerikaanse maatvoering bij VS. Of dat de eerste, de 2e of de 3e regel is.
De rise guide is hoe hoog een broek valt. Dat is op te meten dus.
En die laatste snap ik niet zo goed omdat ik niet precies weet wat 'hosiery' is.
Hoewel ik gok dat het lengte maten van broeken zijn?
En dan heeft het mss te maken met hoe lang iemand is?
Mss zeg ik nu iets heel stoms hoor.

Registered, just like everyone else ... but I suppose you want to know how I found it. I was reading here a few months ago about Joran v.d.s, liked the perspectives, bookmarked the spot and over the weekend thought I'd see what else was going on with the other half of the world.quote:

It sounds like we're about the same size so a medium is what you need in clothes that come in small, medium or large. In clothes that come in 4, 6, 8, 10 you probably need a 6 or 8 (probably better to go with the 8 because you can always take it in a bit if it's too big). Also, I find the shirt sleeves a little short sometimes so I go with the 10 in shirts, however, go with the 8 if you want them to be a little tighter. I think I'm going to return to just reading here ... I think some people would prefer not to have me stumbling over Dutch/English and besides, I don't like to appear like an illiterate.
