Hieruit bleek dat het meer vol met alcohol zat. "Onze meetapparatuur kan zich niet vergissen. Het meer bestaat voor 30% uit alcohol. Het is een wodkameer geworden."

Toen de bewoners het nieuws hoorden, haastten zij zich richting het meer om een voorraad in te slaan. Een 76-jarige vrouw, die aan de oever van het meer woont, vreest voor het voortbestaan van het meer. "Als God ons niet bijstaat zal de hele buurt dronken worden en blijft er op de plek van het meer niet meer dan een putje over."
