Game je op de PC of Console of toch liever mobiel of in je browser? Kom je maar niet door een level heen, of is er juist een nieuwe game aangekondigd die je vet lijkt? Hier kun je het hebben over games in de breedste zin van het woord.

Ja! Maar deze gaat over Rayman 4! Ik wil graag al het nieuws over het spel hier een beetje samenvatten?

-Het spel zal weer duidelijk afwijken van de andere Rayman titels
-Het spel komt zowel op de next gen, als de current gen consoles uit (over de handhelds is nog niks bekend)

Rayman 4 will be the fourth major installment in the well-known Rayman series. Currently, Ubisoft, developer and publisher, have disclosed very little about the game.
The game is being developed in their Montpellier studio, led by Michel Ancel (Rayman, Rayman 2, Beyond Good & Evil). It will be released in "Holiday 2006' on current- and next-generation consoles.

Known Information
There is little information about Rayman 4 at the present time, save the following facts:
* The game was first confirmed to be in production in a pre-release webchat with the creators of Rayman 3. Little was said except that it was going to be "very different".
* In a video interview about his game 'Beyond Good & Evil', Rayman creator Michel Ancel was questioned about UbiSoft's plans for Rayman. He commented on how he thought that the team had to focus more about creating an original game with a moving story, even if it was a platform game. He then said that he couldn't really speak much about the subject, and proceeded by pretending to be shot (presumably by a UbiSoft official) and falling off of his chair. The significance of this event is not certain: Michel does seem to take a certain pleasure in embarrassing his interviewer by acting in a strange way at any given opportunity. In the same interview, Michel said that he thought that Rayman 4 would be released for the next generation consoles.
* UbiSoft forum administrator Darkam posts in the official French Rayman forums on behalf of UbiSoft, saying that the game will "definitely be released before 2007". No other information was given.
* Rayman 4 was officially announced in surprising obscurity by Michel Ancel at the 'UbiSoft Gaming Session 2005', after he had finished showing his latest production, 'Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie' to the press. It appears that Michel Ancel will be directing the latest episode of the series, and that the game will be released in 2006. A brief trailer was shown, in which Rayman receives a phone call from UbiSoft whilst he is holidaying, asking him to sign up for his latest adventure. No footage of this trailer is currently available.

Ik hoop dat Rayman 4 weer meer zoals deel 2 wordt. Hoodlum Havock was leuk, maar ik vond het serieuzere toch wat leuker.
