heb eindelijk grave of fireflies gezien , mooie film, mooi is dat we hier te maken hebben met normale kinderen, niks geen problemen met ouders enzo. gewoon gelukkige kinderen met een positieve instelling die rampzalige dingen meemaken.

I am Hideki Motosuwa... * MaxiTitan drukt op de menu knop om de audio te wijzigen naar Japans met subs op zijn DVD spelertje. Dat was het enige dat hij had hoeven zeggen in het engels.
Alleen DBZ (US-dubversie) vond ik beter klinken en Ghost in the Shell (eerste film) voor de rest alles in het Japans.

Ik download nu ook maar Densha Otoko
Het is ook zeer komiesch om te zien hoe het verhaal met anime verbonden is. Meeste stukken zijn juist goed of juist slecht na gemaakt. Bij GTO ep1 kan je goed zien dat af en toe het acteer werk niet heel goed is. Het is ook aan te raden dat als je begint met de GTO live action, dat je de anime al gezien hebt.
Uiteraard kunnen ze ook goed acteren hoor...

De Life action van Gokusen vond ik briljant.
Bijna net zo'n serie als Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO), maar met een betere hoofdrolspeler (Yukie Nakama, bekend van oa Ringu 0 - birthday) en veel leuke bijrollen van oa: Misaki Ito (alwéér), Jun Matsumoto (Hana yori dango), Yûko Nakazawa (bekend als zangeres in 1e generatie Morning Musume), Shun Oguri (HYD, GTO, Azumi)...

Hotaru No Haka
This made-for-TV movie is a sobering tale of how war can bring out the worst in people. The writers added depth to the original Isao Takahata anime which mainly focused on the relationship between a teenage boy and his young sister left orphan during wartorn Japan and forced to find sustenance on their own.
The 2005 version focuses on the growing divide between the teenage boy and the family friend (played by Matsushima Nanako) who initially takes them in after their mother is killed during an air raid. As rice rations grow scarce, the kindly housewife soon turns cold as she has to choose between feeding her sick son or the two orphans.
The movie is in commemoration of the 60 year anniversary of the end of WWII, and at times, is remniscent of a CBS afterschool special. As if the antiwar message isn't already clear, at the end of this recent version, two of the main characters reiterate the tragedies of war. "Yes my daughter, war is bad. Look at what it has done to these poor kids."
Well casting, particularly of the little girl, makes the story enjoyable, but viewers might still prefer the original. Still, recent version was one of the highest rated programs of the year.

One day, Shima drops in on Enzo. Something strikes Enzo as not right about Shima's demeanor and he follows her back to Tokyo only to discover that their house there has been put up for sale! Shima's natural food business haws failed leaving large debts, which Enzo and his family will have to shoulder. But when Enzo sees the exhausted Shima, he can't bring himself to scold her. Verhaal gaat over 2 jongen een hyper popikopi gast ( ) en een eenling die samen proberen om van een impopulair meisje een populair meisje te maken. Best mooie serie dusse kijken
en van een vriendin (die helemaal Otaku is van Jun Matsumoto) heb ik gehoord dat Kimi Wa petto een goede serie is. Maar ik moet nog kijken waar het verhaal over gaat

Anders val je na 15 min in slaap bij Howls Moving Castle
Het was gelukkig niet omdat de film zo saai was maar meer totale oververmoeidheid van mijn kant.

Ik zat binnen 10 min alweer volledig in het verhaal en op zulke momenten kunnen ze mij alles voorschotelen en het komt geloofwaardig over. Het mooiste is net als bij Spirited Away , het is een echte wereld waar alles NET iets anders is
