And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the Fokkian dream.
I have a dream that one day this forum will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all opinons are equal."
I have a dream that one day in the topics of Klaagbaak, the sons of former muslim fundamentalists and the sons of former right wing users will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the forum of POL, a subforum sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day post at a message board where they will not be judged by the cartoons they use as a usericon but by the content of their post history.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that one day, down in NWS, with its vicious racists and muslim extremists, with its mods having their lips dripping with the words of "too much provocation" and "48 hours ban" -- one day right there in NWS little muslim boys and muslim girls will be able to join hands with little atheist boys and atheist girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today!
This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to the mods with.
