Actor Gary Oldman looks unlikely to reprise his role as Sirius Black in the next Harry Potter offering, after reports he has been mysteriously axed from the wizard franchise. Oldman, who has appeared in the last two movies adapted from JK Rowling's popular children's books, has yet to be signed for a third term - even though filming for Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix has already begun. The actor's manager, Douglas Urbanski, tells British newspaper The Sun, "You will be shocked to learn there are no plans for Gary to appear in the film. To say we are puzzled is an understatement at the very least! We are left with no choice but to pursue other employment for him." Vanessa Davis, spokeswoman for production company Warner Brothers, confirms no deal has been reached, but insists there is still time to resolve the confusion. She says, "With any film the priority is confirming the cast who will be on the set from the outset."

Gary Oldman is now officially in negotiations to reprise his role as Sirius Black for Warner Bros. Pictures' fifth "Harry Potter" installment, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" reports Reuters.
When principal photography on the David Yates-helmed movie started last week, negotiations with Oldman had not begun which led to speculation that Oldman would not be returning and the part would have to be recast.
"We're not shooting his part for quite a while, and as is always the case, you begin with the parts that are most pressing. We have every intention of having Gary Oldman play Sirius Black" says "Potter" producer David Heyman.

Luna vind ik geweldig gecast. Ik had echter Bellatrix veel mooier en spitser verwacht. Ging er niet ooit een gerucht dat Liz Hurley die rol zou vertolken. Stiekem had ik dat geweldig gevonden, ze heeft echt een femme fatale uitstraling en kan volgens mij fel en gemeen uit de hoek komen.

Filming has been underway for five weeks on "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and producer David Heyman confirmed to Empire Online that plans are to continue filming through til mid-May, then break for two months, then continue on from July through til October or November.
At present various scenes involving centaurs and Hagrid's giant brother Grawp have been filmed. Actor Daniel Radcliffe says "The new director's fantastic. I've never been quite this pushed before, so regularly. He's really pushing Harry's emotional and psychological journey. But he also seems to have an incredible eye for sets and shoots and things".
Heyman also talked about cutting out material from the mammoth fifth book - "Inevitably with every book you make choices and there are certain things you have to leave out, so there are things that are left out on this. It always kills me, but you have to do it. We showed the script to Jo a couple of months ago, and she was very happy with it, so I think it's a good adaptation."

Luna vind ik ook heel goed. Liz Hurley was een geweldige Bellatrix geweest idd, maar deze vind ik ook wel oke. Het is voor mij al zo lang terug dat ik die boeken heb gelezen, dus ik weet even niet meer hoe ik haar altijd heb voorgesteld.. Ik vond dat Ralph Fiennes Voldemort voortreffelijk neerzette... Ik vind trouwens dat er weinig acteurs in de HP films zitten die ik hun rol niet goed vind neerzetten... (Al irriteer ik me wel vaak aan het soms tenenkrommende acteerwerk van de 3 kids)
