Hallo,
Na even getwijfeld te hebben over welk subforum het best passend is, toch maar C&H gekozen.
Ik heb hier een munt ter grote van ongeveer de onderkant van een bierglas.
Voorzijde:
De tekst A symbol of international purchasing power.5 .EAGLES. 5.
staat rondom langs de rand geschreven.
In het midden staat een schild met daarin 5 valutatekens; Dollarteken, Yen symbool, Pond symbool, DM en binnen het schild boven de valutatekens staat een soort Franse lelie, onder de valuta tekens staan 3 vetgedrukte kruizen.
achterzijde:
de tekst .THE INTERNATIONAL EAGLE.
staat bovenlangs de rand geschreven.
Daaronder een plaatsje van een eagle op een rots.
Daaronder het jaartal 1807
rand/zijkant:
vier pieterpeuterige merk tekens.
Heeft iemand enig idee ter ere van wat deze munt uitgebracht is, waar hij voor staat of bij welk samenwerkingsverband hij hoort ?
Ik zal later trouwens foto's proberen te maken
