Afgelopen jaar las ik her en der dat er komend jaar toch echt een nieuw album aan zit te komen. Zal het er nog van komen?

Ik gok dat dat nieuwe album er niet meer gaan komen. Die geruchten gingen al sinds vorig jaar en ik dacht dat het er echt zat aan te komen na het optreden in Bristol met Massive Attack en ik meen Robert Plant. Maar helaas...
Dummy is één van de honderden albums die ik nog steeds is moet kopen.

En Roseland NYC is echt een heel goed album, zou wel willen dat MTV het weer eens uitzendt...

Ik heb Dummy op vinyl en Roseland op DVD. Beide zijn erg mooi . Ook die cd van Beth Gibbons is erg goed vind ik. Ik weet eigenlijk niet zo goed wat mijn favoriete nummers zijn eigenlijk.. Nog eens goed naar luisteren...

Luister eigenlijk nooit meer naar Portishead, maar kan me herinneren dat ik Undenied altijd wel een erg mooi nummer vond.

Goed nieuws! Zou mooi zijn als dit uitkomt en ze weer iets muzikaals samen gaan doen:
Op de MySpace van de band valt te lezen dat ze zullen optreden op een festival met de naam All Tomorrow's Parties Nightmare Before Christmas.
Deze zal plaatsvinden van 7 tot en met 9 december in het Britse Minehead. De show is hun eerste show in tien jaar, als we tenminste een geheim concert afgelopen februari in Bristol even niet meerekenen.
Op de MySpace van de band valt te lezen dat ze zullen optreden op een festival met de naam All Tomorrow's Parties Nightmare Before Christmas.

“We have always loved the All Tomorrow’s Parties set up and we’re happy our first shows will be there. It’s great to have the opportunity to introduce bands we love or have influenced us. We’ve chosen a diverse collection of artists to play with us and we’re really looking forward to it”
Details of the line up as it’s confirmed will be sent to you by email and will be available at the All Tomorrow’s Parties site www.atpfestival.com where you’ll also find details of how to buy tickets, accommodation available and how to get there.
