quote:Reunion fans looking for some semblance of closure from Fox's recently axed drama might want to look elsewhere. Despite a week of brainstorming, show execs have concluded it simply is not possible to wrap up the central murder mystery nine "years" sooner than planned. Executive producer Jon Feldman explains in a statement, "Because the events of Samantha's murder are partially reliant on characters we haven't yet met — and events we haven't yet seen — there is no way to solve the mystery of her murder without being able to complete the full arc of our story through the present day. I greatly regret that this question along with many others that the series has posed will remain unsolved, and I am deeply grateful for the support of viewers who share this regret." Reunion's 13th and now final episode airs Feb. 2.
Dat was het dusquote:UNHAPPY REUNION: As we first reported yesterday, Fox's Reunion, which was canceled a few weeks ago but wasn't to actually bow out until Feb. 2, aired its final episode on Dec. 15. "Yes, it was [the last episode], unfortunately," a rep for the series tells TVGuide.com. Reunion execs recently issued a statement saying that the central murder mystery could not possibly be wrapped up on a truncated timetable.

Sadly--and trust me, it rips out my heart to tell you this, and it makes me fume--it is true. Thursday's episode was the last we will see of Reunion. It is done, done, done. Fox is shameless.
From Jarrod_Ravencraf: I've invested four months in Reunion, and Fox can't even give us an ending. Fox is not the top network, and I don't think it can afford to piss off any fans. What can we do? I need closure.
Vote to save it in this week's Save One Show poll. Truth told, it was all your mail about Reunion and Arrested that prompted the poll to run a bit earlier this year. And it really can make a difference.
From berline: Oh. My. Gawd. You said you know who killed Sam on Reunion? Spill! Please!
Well, here's the thing. I want to tell you, but if we want the show to come back (and based by the insane number of SOS votes for it, I'm guessing we do), I really shouldn't tell you because it will make the network suits less likely to pick it up, if the ending is already out there. So, shall we take a vote? Who thinks I should spill it? Who thinks we should save it? (We'll get to the answer in the Spoiler Zone.)
Van:quote:Question: I have heard rumors that the WB may pick up Reunion. Is this true? — Jessica
Ausiello: No. The show is dead, the final episode having aired last week. On the bright side, at least now we know who killed Sam: Fox president Peter Liguori.

Bah jammer.
Ik heb in ieder geval even gemaild. Wie weet helpt het
