Mij n uitslag vond ik erg verbazend aangezien ik serieus regelmatig vastloop bij bepaalde beslissingen ![]() Mijn uitslag: Chan, you are Balanced-brained That means you are able to draw on the strengths of both the right and left hemispheres of your brain, depending upon a given situation. When you need to explain a complicated process to someone, or plan a detailed vacation, the left hemisphere of your brain, which is responsible for your ability to solve problems logically, might kick in. But if you were critiquing an art opening or coming up with an original way to file papers, the right side of your brain, which is responsible for noticing subtle details in things, might take over. While many people have clearly dominant left- or right-brained tendencies, you are able to draw on skills from both hemispheres of your brain. This rare combination makes you a very creative and flexible thinker. The down side to being balanced-brained is that you may sometimes feel paralyzed by indecision when the two hemispheres of your brain are competing to solve a problem in their own unique ways. Nathalie, you are Right-brained Most right-brained people like you are flexible in many realms of their lives. Whether picking up on the nuances of musical concerto, appreciating the subtle details in a work of art, or seeing the world from a different perspective, right-brained people are creative, imaginative, and attuned to their surroundings. People probably see your thinking process as boundless, and that might translate to your physical surroundings as well. Some people think of you as messier than others. It's not that you're disorganized, it's just that you might use different systems to organize (by theme, by subject, by color). Straight alphabetization and rigidly ordered folders are not typical of right-brained behavior. You are also more intuitive than many. When it comes to reading literature, you probably prefer creative writing or fiction over nonfiction. And when it comes to doing math, you might find you enjoy geometry more than other forms like algebra. Your Brain Type Report will describe how and why each of the responses you chose while answering the Brain Test revealed that you are Right-brained dominant. It's ready right now! Sample Report In your Brain Type Report: * Find out what your brain dominance says about how you think and learn * Discover whether you are a visual or aural learner * Understand why you are drawn to certain activities and hobbies * Learn ways to train your brain to make smart decisions in every situation

you are Left-brained Most left-brained people like you feel at ease in situations requiring verbal ability, attention to detail, and linear, analytical ability. Whether you know it or not, you are a much stronger written communicator than many, able to get your ideas across better than others. It's also likely that you are methodical and efficient at many things that you do. You could also be good at math, particularly algebra, which is based on very strict rules that make sense to your logical mind.

2L0w4Zer0, You are Balanced-brained, which means that you rely equally on both the left and right hemispheres of your brain. You have a balanced brain — able to draw on the strengths of both the right and left hemispheres depending on context. Typically, people with balanced right and left hemispheres are very comfortable with switching between local and global perspectives — that is, paying attention to both small details and larger issues when the circumstance indicates. That means they can identify elements that make up an image or situation and also attend to the larger, more holistic pattern or unified whole that those details comprise. You are able to capitalize on the left hemisphere's skills in verbal communication as well on the right hemisphere's focus on patterns and association making. This rare combination makes you a very creative and flexible thinker. Depending on the situation, you may rely on one hemisphere or the other. Some situations may lend themselves to using your right brain's creativity and flexibility while other situations may call for a more structured approach as dictated by your left brain. That's how your brain processes information. And while your dominant brain hemisphere certainly contributes to the way you process information, there is also a style of learning, unrelated to your dominant hemisphere, that determines the ways in which you are best able to pick up information. When you're learning something new, your dominant brain hemisphere will want to take over. But there are times when the information being presented is not well suited to your dominant hemisphere's abilities. That's why, in addition to your hemispheric dominance, you also have a style of learning that is dominant for you. Whether you know it or not, you are naturally predisposed to learning things visually, aurally, or through a combination of the two. Your test results show that you are a visual learner. Other balanced-brained people who are visual learners are scientist and theoretician Buckminster Fuller, painter Pablo Picasso, news anchor Tom Brokaw, and scientist Stephen Hawking. But before delving deeper into how you learn, you should get the basics of your brain's physiology. ![]()

Ik ben ook left-brained, maar niet bijzonder goed in wiskunde... Of ik heb weer niet op zitten letten natuurlijk ![]() Uit Wikipedia: Hemisphere specialisation In most people, the left hemisphere of the human brain dominates, and specialises (in very broad terms) in speech, writing, detail perception and language. It is quite unclear that the right hemisphere has equivalent broad associations with spatial abilities, coherent form recognition, emotional recognition, holistic perception and visual face recognition. The magnocellular pathway of the visual system sends more information to the right hemisphere, while the parvocellular pathway sends more information to the left hemisphere. There are higher levels of the neurotransmitter norepinephrine on the right and higher levels of dopamine on the left. There is more white-matter (longer axons) on right and more grey-matter (cell bodies) on the left (Carter). Pop psychology and popular myths about the brain simplify these distinctions into a very crude binary system whereby a person appears pre-dominantly "left-brained": logical and less "right-brained": creative or vice versa. Fortunately the neurological sciences can be very helpful in being able to immunize against simplistic pseudoscience claims about brain function, and debunk dubious products and services that are sold using such myths. Testing the functions of brain lateralization, neuropsychologists have studied split-brain patients. They have also studied people born without a corpus callosum to determine specialization of brain hemispheres.
