Kent iemand de serie Arrested Development? Draait in de VS nu in het tweede seizoen, en loopt ook op de BBC momenteel. Ik ben er helemaal verslaafd aan iig. Omschrijving van de BBC website is heel erg accuraat imho:
Ron Howard narrates Arrested Development, a quick-fire American sitcom that tells the surreal story of the Bluths.
An extended family of rich eccentrics reminiscent of the Royal Tenenbaums, the Bluths must fight their way through snappy direction (including Family Guy-style flashbacks and 'contemporary' shaky camerawork) and equally peculiar situations as they struggle to keep their family business (empire) alive.
This is because G. Bluth Sr (Jeffrey Tambor), the guy who used to run Bluth Co., has been put in jail and the company's expense account has been frozen, leaving the rest of the Bluths to cope without such essentials as their private jet.

Hmm...ik zou zweren dat hier al een topic over was, maar niet dus.
Het is een geweldige serie. Jammer alleen dat er zo weinig mensen naar kijken...dat maakt de kans groot dat de serie het niet al te lang volhoudt.
Aan de andere kant is de baas van Fox ook erg enthousiast en schijnt die de serie aan te willen houden, ondanks de lagere kijkcijfers.

ja er was een gerucht dat ze gecancelled zouden worden, maar op de website wordt dit ook echt als onzin afgedaan omdat ze bij FOX erg gesteld zijn op AD. Ze hebben ook al flink wat prijzen gewonnen... en terecht

Ik heb dit laatst in het vliegtuig gezien, leuke humor alleen vind ik dat er best slecht in geacteerd wordt.
Ik verheug me al maanden op het derde seizoen van AD. Na Seinfeld de leukste Amerikaanse comedy ooit. Het is een van de weinige comedies waarbij ik elke aflevering in een deuk lig.
