Uiteraard.

The one upside was Raphael Benitez's speech which received the most applause all night!
The worst for me was what in my eyes at least appeared to be a Very well thought out and constructed attack from Steve Morgan!!
As alot of you will already know if you know me I have NEVER been a supporter of this man, however after tonight my Dislike and Distaste of him has soured to heights I never thought possible to feel towards anyone that I do not have a personal relationship with!!
The floor was open to QUESTIONS!!!!! and Steve Morgans wife took this opportunity to stage the first of a 2part attack on the board but in my eyes was directed mainly at David Moores, she did this saying that her husband was not aware of what she was about to do!!! ( I may be Scouse luv but I am far from f**king stupid and can read a set up when I see one!!!)
She said on how badly her husband had been treated and how much money they had spent on trying to make LFC a richer club, and that he had done all this only because of his love of the club and not for any financial or controlling gain!! etc etc, continuing to ask why the board would not accept her husbands great offer of money.
The answer to her question was put over in a extreamly dignified way, considering the legal restrictions of disscussing some of the areas of disscussion.
Within minutes we then had Steve Morgan himself stand and take the floor saying how he was not aware his wife was going to talk and that he wasn't going to disscuss his bid this evening but decided that he would just say a few things!!! ( Yea Right!!)
He then went on to attack Moores and the board saying that he has been repeatedly declined and that he has another offer for them and that it was what the fans of LFC wanted!!?? ( not me mate!)
I wont go into all the details of what he said but it boils down to the same thing total control to him at a minimun cost!, his supporters within the shareholders applauded him, Parry on answering him said that he was legally bound not to disscuss the exact offer that Morgan had made that the board had refused but if Mr Morgan wished to disclose it himself that would be not only appropriate but legally acceptable!!
Morgan skated round this by saying he considered that this was not the time or place for such a thing!! ( Hmmmm not so open now eh!!! rings of what I would expect!!)
This 2 part attack from the Morgans resulted in a very shaken and upsetting response from Moores which sickend me to my stomach!!!
He was as close as I have ever heard anyone come to of resigning!!!
My heart sank at his response and I kept praying that he did not say what it sounded he was about to!!
Luckily although inntanated he did not actually say he was going to resign!
Now I know I am going to probally get alot of different opinions from people who are pro Morgan, but what happend this evening was PLANNED and EXECUTED and not the Spotaneous talk that the Morgans were trying to make out!!
The Board does need some changes and we do need money, but for me We do NOT need the likes of Morgan as the Controlling power! I could never trust this mans moral inntegruity!!
For me Parry and Moores are my choice , the other board members can go and be replaced as my compromise to change!
The offer from the US is from a guy who was Born and brought up in Liverpool infact he went to school with a shareholder I met this evening , he told me that this jeffries had left Liverpool to study Law in Oxford and after gaining his degree with honours made a big name for himself in the USA , so He also is a self made millionaire with Liverpool links and if given the choice gets My vote!!

The question of the stadium remains in Limbo!
As Parry said that until they can have accepted public funding it cannot move forward even though the plans have been accepted as the funding would be needed to complete all the rejuvenation plans for the Park and sites proposed within the area hotel, cafe resteraunt complex aswell as the landscaping!
It was asked as the original cost for the stadium was 80 mill what would the final cost be now!
Parry replied as delays in planning permmision etc had been inccured aswell as other things the price could not be finalised until public funding had been accepted! but gave a figure of around an estimate now of 120-150 mill!
It was suggested that the cost of the stadium could possibly bankrupt the club if revenue was not insurred
Parry replied that the board would not undertake the go ahead of a new stadium without the understood knowledge of affordability!!
The board was also questioned over the sale of Owen for only 8mill and why they had not got more money for him?
Reply We cannot tell a player when to go if he choses not to and that when Owen chose to leave 8mill was the highest offer and no other offers were received so theyy had done whatthey could on that basis with the arrival of Nunnez as part of that deal
It was also put to them that the 11mill paid to Houllier and staff and players that left was far in excess of what should have been paid in the context that GH only had 1 yr contract left!
The board repiled saying they paid in pro rota to what they had to and did not pay more than they needed and the suggesstion that GH was paid over the top to get rid was unfounded and untrue! That the likes of Markus Babbel still had 2yrs left on their contract1
It was also asked why LFC cannot addopt a wage to their footballers based on a performance ratio!!
The board said they were already in the process of looking into that but until it becomes more accepted across all clubs it will be a harder and slower process as they would be more likely to lose out on players because of this clause being in their contract when other clubs dont addopt the same!
Lastly the board was challenged over those on it that held no shares in the club! and why they dont have shares and are automatically re elected!
The board did not comment on the lack of shareholding but did ask for a floor vote of for and against re election, which ended in a poll vote, however they did inform the floor that the results of the vote would not change the final result as they already had in there possession proxy votes giving them a 66% vote of favour for re election!
