Het is alweer een jaar geleden dat er een sci-fi toernooi werd gehouden en omdat het foreign film tournooi is afgelopen, dacht ik, het is weer eens tijd voor een tournament.
We beginnen uiteraard eerst met de nominatieronde. Jullie nominaties kunnen jullie hier in dit topic posten. Vermeld achter de titel ook het jaartal, dit om misverstanden te voorkomen. In jullie nominatielijst graag een maximum van 30 films aanhouden. Na de nominatieronde volgt er misschien nog een tussenronde waarin poules worden gemaakt waaruit je de beste films moet halen, zodat we op een mooi aantal uit komen voor de volgende rondes. Het streven is om te beginnen met 128 films.
Maar afhankelijk van het aantal nominaties kan dit misschien nog wijzigen.
De volgende rondes bestaan uit directe confrontaties in paar-vorm. De 16 films die als meeste genoemd zijn in de nominatieronde zullen geplaatste films zijn. Dit om te voorkomen dat er in de eerste ronde al 2 zwaargewichten tegenover elkaar komen te staan. Diegenen van jullie die wel eens een tennistoernooi hebben gezien weten waarschijnlijk wel wat dit inhoudt.
De nominatieronde zal waarschijnlijk een aantal weken open blijven, zodat er voldoende films genomineerd zullen worden om uit te kiezen.
Vaste stemmers zullen een extra zware stem hebben. In geval van een gelijke stand tussen 2 films volgt er een shoot-out. De film die als eerste 5 stemmen krijgt na de post van de shoot-out is de winnaar.
En dan nog als laatste, in geval van twijfel of enige andere aard van buitenaardse inmenging, beslist de toernooidirectie
