Stukje van IMDB wat ik wel aardig vond:
I'll admit it, even though I knew Vincent was gonna die and figured it'd be Max that did it, I was still a little let down by the ending at first. I mean, how could Vincent, the professional hitman, get taken down by a taxi driver who'd probably never fired a gun before?
Then it was pointed out to me the little detail that made the ending AWESOME. The reason Max wasn't hit was because of Vincent's style. His signature move is the double-tap to the chest, followed up by one right between the eyes. The only thing is, in this case there's a metal bar blocking his shot. If you look at the indentations in the door, he puts two bullets right where Max's chest would be and one right where his head would be. Max just fired blindly through the windows and managed to score a hit. If that door hadn't been there, Vincent would have blown him away in no time at all.
THAT is why I think the film had an awesome ending.
Om het nu opeens awesome te noemen vind ik een beetje overdreven, maar het is wel ok.
