SimBin Development Team has announced that GTR The Ultimate Racing Game, described as "the next generation racing simulation", is nearing completion and will be released in this summer. "GTR is based on the FIA GT championship and it simulates the greatest supercars in the world racing on some of the worlds most exciting circuits". GTR The Ultimate Racing Game will contain 10 officially licensed real world tracks, 68 officially licensed team specific GT and NGT cars, two completely different game modes (simulation and arcade) and multiplayer with LAN and Internet support.

GTR is based on the FIA GT championship, it simulates the greatest supercars in the world racing on some of the worlds most exciting circuits.

  • The FIA GT Spa 24H event is also included in the game, featuring more 3D cars running on track simultaneously than any other title in history (up to 56 cars). It features mind-blowing endurance racing from dusk to dawn.

  • The world’s greatest super cars modeled with the most intricate detail ever seen in a game.

  • All of the real world tracks meticulously recreated using GPS and CAD print data with quality and accuracy surpassing any other title.

  • The most accurate physics taken directly from the data logs of the real cars as they raced on the real circuits to create the most intense racing experience ever.

    Most of the real drivers from FIA GT will appear in person in the game in addition to a mass of real racing footage from the FIA GT season.

    Different game modes
    Two completely different Game modes
    -Simulation mode- and -Arcade mode- with individual physics to suit every game fan.

    Multiplayer & Online
    The game is optimized for full LAN and Internet support.

    GTR will be hosted on dedicated servers on the Internet.
    The gamers can expected a thick smell of burning rubber and race car fumes when they log on with GTR in late summer of 2004.
    These servers will also host additional features, such as add-on cars, tracks, and possibly whole championships for dowload.

    Online Competitions
    We will offer gamers to participate in online racing series based on the level of skills you possess as well as your opponents.
    You will qualify in the skill based series from the bottom to the top of the online series where you can participate in competitions.

    De demo is geweldig vindt ik, dat geluid van de auto's is om te smullen en de graphics zijn geweldig (wel 4x FSAA aan) + dat de handling lekker pittig is. Je moet even instellen welke controls je wilt e.d want in het begin kreeg ik de auto ook maar niet uit de Pit Lane Limiter

    Gave optie is trouwens "Look in Apex" (oid) dan kijk je de bochten in als je aan het racen bent.
