zou dit een iets kunnen zijn?
Dear ,
In astrology, we say that a planet is "retrograde" when it appears to be going backward from our point of view on Earth, and that's what's going on with Mercury right now. This influential planet has not actually changed course — it's just our perception, created by its location relative to Earth's position.
Astrologers advise us to pay attention when any planet goes retrograde. In Mercury's case, this happens about three times a year.
Mercury went retrograde on Tuesday, April 6th and goes direct again on Friday, April 30th. So... for the rest of this month, here are some things to keep in mind...
Mercury retrograde gets a bad rap for being disruptive, creating delays or causing irritating mechanical malfunctions. Mercury is the planet of communications and details, and indeed, when it is retrograde, these areas of life may be affected. But Rick Levine tells me that what is really happening is that Mercury's influence is being magnified by its proximity to Earth, cluttering the cosmic airwaves, as it were, and causing our little brains to go on overload. Anytime there is too much information coming in, we may have trouble sorting it out!
So, what should we do when Mercury is retrograde? Just chill out. Slow down. Lower your demands on reality. Use this time instead to revisit and reflect on things you thought were completed. And take yourself lightly. Mercury is a bit of a trickster, but if you play along with his antics rather than resisting, you'll get a fresh view of things and perhaps notice opportunities you might have missed before.
Lose your keys? Late for work? Hah! Have a laugh and blame it all on Mercury... you've got a few more weeks of good excuses!
Optimistically,
Paul O'Brien, Chief Visionary
PS: Don't be too surprised if old friends — or lovers — show up from your past between now and April 30th.
Ik had gister namelijk hetzelfde alleen dat van mij was wel te verklaren!
