Het album Levelling the Land is een album dat ik een aantal keer per week draai. Ook het album Zeiltgeist is fantastisch. De rest ook, maar deze twee steken er toch bovenuit... Nummers als Forgotten Ground en The Boatman zijn imo de toppers...
ben zelf ook present in utrecht (als er nog kaarten voor zijn).....
beste album is voor mij zeitgeist..zoals voor de meeste....

Ik ken hun nieuwe cd's echter niet... ik bedenk me net dat die albums Levelling the Land en Zeitgeist alweer 10 jaar oud zijn....
Ik heb alle cd's van ze en een rammel fanclub-freebies. Mark Chadwick is een wazige persoonlijkheid, maar wel eentje waar je lol mee kunt hebben. Jeremy is een super kunstenaar (kijk maar eens naar de ontwerpen op de CD's!). En Jon (half Nederlands) een super violist. Natuurlijk vergeten we Si en Charlie ook niet!

"Levelling The Land" (1992), "Levellers" (1993), "Zeitgeist" (1995) zijn MUST HAVES.
"Hello Pig" (2000) is een beetje een vreemd album, je moet er voor open staan. Hetzelfde geldt voor "Mouth To Mouth" (1997). "Green Blade Rising" (2001) is weer een prachtig album ("Wake The World", "Wild As Angels", "Not What We Wanted"), en ten slotte "A Weapon Called The Word" (1990). Dat laatste album is heel erg akoestisch, en is nog zonder Simon Friend, maar met Alan Miles. Akoestische folk, zoals "What You Know", "Three Friends" en "Ballad of Robbie Jones". De live plaat (1996) is ook leuk.

Het is 15 jaar geleden dat ik ze voor het eerst en het laatst heb gezien en kreeg van iemand te horen dat het oude lullen zijn geworden.
