Even een stukje over de band, zodat jullie een idee hebben wat je qua muziek kan verwachten:

2000. A group of friends from Nijmegen, a part of which has now moved to Utrecht, started Sennen. At first eighties wave and nineties noise and shoegazing were their most important influences, but gradually their sound developed into what the press likes to call postrock.

The result is a hypnotizing mix of guitar tapestries and sound effects, carried by repeating basslines and dynamic drumming. sometimes comforting and warm, sometimes cold and alienating. the atmospheric compositions are experimental and because of the three guitars strongly layered.

Sennen's first demo was recorded in the summer of 2002 at studio moskou. 2002 and 2003 were spent performing live, trying out new songs and recording them. The ep "periphery" will be released at the end of 2003.
