CHRISTIAN Slater was rushed to the hospital with a bloody gash on his head after his enraged wife, Ryan Haddon, hurled a glass at him in their Las Vegas hotel room.
The matrimonial mauling happened early Monday morning, after Haddon yanked Slater out of a topless club and the two got into a spat in their suite at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, sources tell PAGE SIX.
Cops charged Haddon with domestic battery at about 7 a.m. Monday, Las Vegas Police Lt. Juanita Goode confirmed. "A glass was thrown at Slater, and he was cut behind the left ear," she said.
"He was taken to Desert Springs Hospital and received some stitches. She was arrested and taken to the Clark County Detention Center and has since been released."
Our Sin City source claims that Ryan went ballistic because Slater had been partying without her at a strip club. "She went to literally every strip bar in Vegas until she found him," says our spy. "Then they went back to the Hard Rock where the fight ensued. The paramedics were called and Christian was taken to the hospital."
Slater, who received nine stitches, claims the incident was a misunderstanding.
"She went to throw a glass of water at his face as a joke," a friend of the star told us. "He went down to get help with the cut and they called the police. He didn't want to press charges. It was an accident, but they had to arrest her. She was released from jail 12 hours later on her own recognizance."
This wouldn't be the first time Haddon blew her stack over her hubby's stripper obsession.
Back in July, the National Enquirer reported that they had a wild, all-night party with Ben Affleck, Tara Reid and three strippers from a Vancouver nightclub. The tab said Haddon became enraged when she walked in on one of the topless temptresses shaving Slater's back in a bathroom. (euwww)
Slater married Haddon, a 31-year-old TV producer, in 2000. The actor previously romanced Winona Ryder, Samantha Mathis, Christina Applegate, Christy Turlington and Patricia Arquette.
Slater was arrested in 1997 for attacking then-galpal Michelle Jonas and biting a police officer in the belly during a drug-and-booze-fueled meltdown. He later served 90 days in jail.
Slater's spokeswoman declined comment.

Slater en Haddon trouwden in februari 2000 en hebben een vier jaar oude zoon Jaden Zach Haddon-Slater. De 34-jarige Slater is bekend van films als Broken Arrow, True Romance en 3000 Miles to Graceland .
