Apparently the government is trying to cover up a UFO crash and the investigation into it just so it doesn't affect the coming election and are willing to severe lengths to ensure the cover-up succeeds. Also the astronaut characters wind up in the center of the conspiracy and suddenly end up becoming wouldn't you know it-action heroes. Entertaining but only in a silly way."
