Nu is het wel zo dat Turtles 2 en 3 voor de NES en Turtles IV voor de SNES ook voornamelijk simpel rammen op slechts een manier zijn, maar van moderne spellen mag je toch wat meer verwachten. Ook de schijnbaar zeer beperkte soundtrack en sound-effects doen vermoeden dat het spel voor de makers een kwestie was van makkelijk geld verdienen. En dat valt toch tegen. Mijn enthousiasme is door de IGN review in ieder geval flink getemperd.
