Ben heel benieuwd naar dit album. Vond "The Universal Migrator" (zowel deel I als deel II) toch wel erg gaaf.
Overigens lijkt het me moeilijk om eerder platen als Into the Eletric Castle en The Final Experiment te overtreffen. De laatste drie platen konden dat niet naar mijn mening.
Zal hem wel eer aanschaffen hoewel ik die andere eig ook weinig draai. Toch mis ik *iets* op die albums.

Op deze Ayreon zullen dit keer geen zangers en instrumentalisten te gast zijn die al eens eerder met een Ayreon project hebben meegedaan. De grote uitzondering op deze regel is drummer Ed Warby die inmiddels alle drums heeft opgenomen.

James has known Arjen's music for a long time and did not hide the fact that he would love to be part of one of his projects one day. 31-10-2003 - The release date for the new Ayreon is...
"When can we buy the 6th Ayreon album in the stores?" Judging from the poll we took a few weeks ago on the website; this is the second most important thing every Ayreonaut in the world wants to know! Well, here is your answer! The release date has tentatively been scheduled for May 2004 and the album will be released on a new label. More information will follow!

12-11-2003 - Mikael Åkerfeldt Confirmed!
As many of you already guessed, Swedish singer/grunter Mikael Åkerfeldt is vocalist number 8 to be confirmed to appear on Ayreon: The Human Equation.
Fans and journalists alike kept telling Arjen to check out Mikael as a possible choice for a singer on an Ayreon album. Arjen became more and more curious to hear him and decided to pick up a copy of Damnation. After a few spins he became an absolute fan of Mikael's voice and music.
When Arjen contacted Mikael to ask whether he would be interested to participate, Mikael replied within an hour that he knew about Ayreon and even had some albums... and that he would love to be part of a new Ayreon project.
Mikael recorded his vocals at the Electric Castle the first week of November and if you want to know if Mikael also grunts on the album, be sure to check the full studio report including pictures to be posted next week!
