Er was ook nog een 'As Nasty As They Wanna Be" part II: Sports Weekend. Tegen die tijd waren ze wel allang weer over hun hoogtepunt (hmm, beetje foute woordkeuze in deze context) heen.

Als pubertje vond ik de 2 Live Crew eigenlijk wel leuk, heb ook nog een cd van ze hier liggen. Zou 't nu nooit meer kopen, natuurlijk.

Die eerste 'As Nasty..' mocht toch ook een tijd niet meer verkocht worden aan minderjarigen in de VS? Tegenwoordig is dit soort taalgebruik inderdaad toch best wel 'normaal' geworden in hiphop.

2 Live Crew waren trouwens ook lang niet de eerste, ik heb nog een paar van die Blowfly-platen uit de jaren 70, en dat is minstens zo grof.
